Lake Placid Self Storage

Clean safe storage. Easy access.

Reserved and was guaranteed a UHaul truck a week in advance, only to receive a call from UHaul (not LP self storage) that Lake Placid didn’t actually have a truck to reserve us because they gave it to someone else. Have called LP self storage multiple times in an attempt to figure out the situation, only to be sent to voicemail every time (for multiple days). While UHaul corporate was helpful in finding me the next closest rental place (45 minutes away), LP self storage has sadly screwed my girlfriend and I, as we now need to scramble to figure out moving plans this weekend. I do not recommend LP self storage for truck rentals as they are unresponsive and they “guarantee” trucks that they won’t actually give you.
