Cobble Hill Trailhead

It had snowed the day before so the trail was a little difficult but the views were beautiful and we met several groups of hikers that were friendly.

Great views of the town and Northwood School. Muddy in parts (Early May) but otherwise mostly flat with a fairly steep ascent when it comes.

Cobble Hill Trail started as a nice leisurely walk through a wooded area. Then it turned more challenging when we had to hike over and around rocks and muddy areas (note, it had not rained before we were there). When almost at the top, we approached a 60-degree rock wall with nothing but a small rope for guidance. Since we did not want to risk injury, we turned around at that point.

Nice trail. Trailhead is very poorly marked. Bringing the register further forward would benefit hikers immensely. I walked up and down several times before spotting it

Nice hike. Bit of a scramble near the end, but the view is great. Beware there is no parking at the trailhead, you need to either find a spot on the side of Mirror Lake Ln or a nearby lot and walk to the entrance.

Fabulous hike and beautiful views. However there were several irresponsible dog owners with unleashed dogs attacking our kids.
