Amazing. They got me right in to have a tooth pulled when my regular dentist wasn't able to get me in for weeks. He has a trick where you won't even feel it when he gives you the shot to numb you. It always hurts so bad at my other dentist. It was a difficult tooth and he took his time and got it out without having to resort to surgery. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

Dr Smith and Dawn are the best I’ve ever seen. They are nice, most gentle, and compassion. They understood my fears and made me feel comfortable. Another great dentist visit to Dr. Edward D. Smith, DDS. In Ogdensburg NY. I drive 60 miles from Watertown NY because Dr. Smith is a compassionate and kind dentist with a whole lot of experience and great staff. Dr.Edward D. Smith, DDS. is the best in dentistry. He has a great team of family and staff. They are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment. I highly recommend to any one looking for a dentist or a second opinion. Today I came in with a chipped tooth and Dr. Smith quickly assessed the situation and recommend I move forward without Novocain as this procedure should not cause any pain. Whew! He was right and the work came out beautifully. If you need quality work, at an affordable price, then you need to call Dr. Smith to set up an appointment. You will thank God you did. I do every day and have been thankful for the 20 plus years he and his staff have been serving my dental needs. Thank you so much!

Our family has been patients of this practice for nearly two decades. It's an hour drive one way for us to go there, but we won't go anywhere else! Excellent dental work. Very accommodating for routine and emergent care. Professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend this dentistry.

Was diagnosed with periodontal disease, two cavities and I needed a crown. Told them that can’t be true. Asked they just do a cleaning. Tech said since I was diagnosed, they had to do root/planning procedure, and were going to numb me. I got up and left. They billed my insurance for the procedure even though it wasn’t done. Found a new dentist; guess what; my gums are in great shape, no cavities and don’t need a crown...hmmmm. Beware

I had an $1800 root canal + crown done 3 years ago. The crown crumbled to dust after a year and a half. What the ?????? The dentist was totally not patient friendly...in fact, rather rude, like he was doing me a favor . Dental care in this part of Northern New York appears to be totally sub-par. What a shame, considering all the toothless young people

I called his office inquiring a being a new patient whether you have Medicaid or not Medicaid coverage and was made to feel like I was a problem in calling and didn't want to answer questions over the phone. Definitely wouldn't recommend this office.
