Shout out to Ray Scudder's Cesspool Service Inc. Called today for the dreaded pump out. Got an appointment this AM for this afternoon. A great thing. Tommy came out. He remembered me, my cesspool, how my backyard looked 2 years ago and what he had done for me then. Amazing! He talked at length about what my issue may be and came up with a plan of action and a future plan. He was patient, thorough and kind. Top notch customer service. Customer for life. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Placed a call this morning to get service after I noticed water backing up into the shower. Woman I talked to at the office was very pleasant and accommodating, and was able to get me an appointment with Tom right away. Less than 2 hours later the clog was resolved, everything was explained to me, work was professional, and they didn't try to up-sell me anything. I will certainly be using them again when necessary

This is by far the best experience I've ever had with septic tank/cesspool service in my 35 years of owning a home. Lisa (owner) answered my call promptly and professionally. Scheduled me for the next morning with Tom. Lisa even gave me an idea on the cost of the service based on what I described to her. Tom arrived promptly and figured out exactly what was needed. Within 25 minutes of his arrival, we could use our bathroom. Next he proceeded to service the septic tank that definitely needed to be emptied. When he was done, everything was back in its place and my wastewater system is good to go with no backup worries at all. The cost was reasonable for the services Ray Scudder's Cesspool provided. I highly recommend Ray's!

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a same day service call when I contacted Ray Scudder's Cesspool Services Inc., for an appointment to have my cesspool(s) pumped out. The owner, Bob, promptly arrived and immediately resolved my issue. He was friendly, honest, professional and reasonably priced. It was a pleasure dealing with Bob and I highly recommend his cesspool services company.

Called last night for service, tech showed up exactly on time, he was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. We had a huge block in our line, he kept his cool and fixed it, and drained our pools. The price was beyond reasonable, and the service was 10/10. Definitely recommend.

Called Ray Scudder's @ 6:30a when I realized my cesspool needed pumping ASAP. Bob (the owner) quickly called back and showed up at the time he promised. He provided honest, fast and excellent service at a reasonable price. To top it off, he's one of the nicest guys you'd want to meet (and my dog loved him too)! Highly recommended! Thanks Bob!

Had an issue on Christmas Day, apparently the pipe going to the septic tank came loose. Bob and company were there the next day and made the repair. Very neat and respectful of my property. Have not had a problem since. That was 5 years ago. We always use Scudder. Bobs trucks and equipment are in show condition!

We called Ray Scudder after another company gave us a questionable assessment of our cesspools. When I called to make the appointment, the wife of the owner spoke to me for 25 minutes on the phone to try to troubleshoot the issue. She was so informative and patient! Tommy came to the house, explained everything he saw, serviced the cesspool, and was very professional! After the service call, I spoke with Bob, the owner, and he was equally kind and helpful! This is a company you can trust!

The tech hadn't been to my house in over 8 years, but he remembered exactly where the tank was. Anyone can pump poop. An honest assessment of your usage is priceless. Great company.

Long review: it started with a 2:00am panicked call from my niece that the basement was flooding because of water backing up. Roto rooter was called for an emergency service - MISTAKE - the guy said to turn off water main and fought we me about what a water main is, then did nothing, didn’t even attempt to snake and charged $380 for an “emergency call” - water slowly started to stop. Cleaned up. Called ray scudder immediately the next day / they were the only company who took the time to discuss then the office rep said she would send Tommy - 35 years with the company - because we needed to find the cesspool cover also. It was scheduled for after one in the afternoon but Tommy called around 9:30am since he was in the area and squeezed me in. I can’t thank him and this company enough.

Don’t bother with anyone else. Give them a call first.

i can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was to do business with Ray Scudder’s ! This was the first time I’ve had any issues with my cesspool, and didn’t know a thing about servicing it , other then I had to call someone , fast . I had already made an appointment with another company but read a review and decided to call . When I spoke with Lisa , I knew right away that I was in good hands . She was wonderful ! Lisa listened while I told her what was going on , then explained everything and quoted me prices on all aspects of the servicing she thought I would need . Her husband , Bob , came the next day and once again I knew I was in the right hands . He was friendly , professional , and was done in no time . The job ended up costing me much less then I anticipated , which was fantastic ! Bob and Lisa are two of the most honest , professional , kind , and caring business owners I have ever met . I've been unhappy with prior cesspool companies, so I saw Scudder's name mentioned and wanted to give them a shot. Called on a Monday evening and they had first thing Wednesday available for a non-emergency cesspool servicing. Bob arrived on time, explained what he'd do, the costs and got to work. Both the office and Bob (owner) were really nice, HONEST and they didn't try to provide services that less reputable cesspool companies will attempt to sell you. (Literally pump your waste back in to "aerate" your cesspool.) By the time Bob left, I felt like I should have invited Bob to Christmas dinner. Again, they're honest, good people, so we will definitely work with them next time. Merry Christmas Bob and staff!

Bob (Owner) and Tom are an exceptional team. Our Septic is located 40ft down an 90degree angle and takes hard work to pump. Nothing fazes these amazing guys. From working in the pouring rain, to locating an elusive leaching pool, they were totally focused. I called 4 other companies who all declined the hard work before Bobs team came to the rescue. A shout out to Bobs wife who makes the appts who was helpful from the start. Their company motto is “we’re number 1 in the business of numbers 2’s “ - they are not wrong! Thank you

Words can not express how grateful we are for the hard work of Bob from Ray Scudder! His wife, Lisa was extremely sweet to speak to and was able to get her husband to our house within 30 minutes. We are beyond satisfied with his work ethic, honesty and helpfulness :) my husband and I will be recommending him to our family and friends!!

Called on 11-19-18 and spoke with Lisa. Very personable and very helpful. Explained everything detail. Lisa even went back in her records and found that the previous owners had used their services in 2006 and knew the layout of the cesspool, overflow etc...It was purely by chance that I called this company after reading the reviews. I thought I’d have to wait a week or so for an appointment. Not so. Lisa scheduled me for an appointment after 2pm for the very next day. Tommy called before heading over to let me know his ETA and showed up less than 30mins later, and Hector, his associate, came a few minutes after. Both men were very professional. Very courteous and helpful. Explained everything in detail and even checked to see if a seal was broken on my toilet and took it from there. The men worked together like a well oiled machine. Took a full assessment of the situation and ended up saving me hundreds of dollars. Nicest and most professional men. I could not have been more pleased with their service and professionalism. Top notch. I’d refer Ray Scudder to anyone. PS: Lisa is the best! She really knows her stuff and there are no gimmicks. She returns calls promptly and is very helpful.
