Such a wonderful atmosphere, small place with great lighting, right on main street a block or two from the water. Excellent food, I had the Salmon in a sundried tomato sauce with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, this was delectable. The service is kind and warm, very quiet place where you can tell love is the main ingredient, I will definitely be back.

not too busy with a good amount of seating. waitress who served me was polite. got poke and oysters which were nicely presented and good tasting. then I got the Chicken Panini which was great. it’s overall a nice, cozy, and fairly-priced eatery which has great service and atmosphere.

Took Mom and Pop here for Mothers Day. Atmosphere amazing. Service impecable. Food outstanding. They start you out with delicious bread. Mom had the Salomon Burger, Dad had the Filet of Grouper and treated myself to the Filet of Sole. All were out of this world. Prices reasonable for dinner in downtown Northport. A Real Gem. Can't wait to check out their sister Bistro 44 in the future.

My family loves to go out for seafood and my daughter loves ousters. I went on line and looked up oysters near me and found the Harbor House. Since then my parents have gone there more then me. My dad has specific diets, and he found entrées. Service is great!!!!

This was a first time for me. Katie behind the bar, and Carolyn running the floor were super friendly. This was great all around. Rice balls & avocado shrimp appetizers were excellent. Monkfish entree, was outstanding. What a great spot for a cozy night out! Harbor House is a winner and thanks to Kelly H. for the night out! Btw, if you are trying to eat more fish there were 2 additional outstanding entrees.....I'll / We'll be back for more!!!

Every dish is delicious. The filet of lemon sole is second to none, but the most spectacular thing is the chocolate mousse dessert served in a martini glass!

This was my second time dining at Harbor House and the first time for the guests that joined me. I started off with a glass of Joe Dobbes Pinot Noir(my friends work at this vineyard in Oregon) and it was as always, a great glass of pinot. Next, for apps we ordered the clam chowder and the tuna poke. Both were fabulous. I loved that the clam chowder was a creamy and thick soup. The tuna poke... highly recommend. For entrees, I ordered the mussels. I loved the fennel and shallots. Others ordered the: lobster roll, fettuccine with lobster and clams, the sole fish. Everyone enjoyed their food!

Overall, we will definitely be back and we recommend dining here.

Really good food. Great service and ambience. Would definitely recommend their Caesar salad. It is topped with fresh crabmeat. It was absolutely delicious and unique! Both the grouper and the stuffed sole special were yummy along with their crab cake.

Very Good food - many seafood choices from apps to mains, but meat, burgers, and veg available also. Bread basket OK. Salads well done. Drinks and wine pours generous. Knockout Key Lime pie. Service friendly and efficient. Small comfortable room - 2 window tables, 1 booth, about 6-8 tables, very large bar. Reservations accepted. Great addition to Northport.

Food was absolutely amazing! Had the crab meat salad and tuna. Highly recommend it! Waitress Sophie was fantastic and Kevin the bartender made a fantastic drink!

My father and I had the pleasure of attending their opening night. The service was extremely friendly and the decor is a perfect fit for a harbor town restaurant. Their menu really covers the seafood bases so it was a bit hard to make a decision. The mussels were a well seasoned huge portion and awesome for dipping bread in. I also had the Clam and Lobster Pasta which was super delicious with a lot of lobster (as you can see). I look forward to returning to work my way through this menu. Thank you Harbor House!

Keto friendly salad ! Hefty and fresh salad with a great portion of avocado. Great service and owner was very welcoming ! Lobster ravioli was outstanding as well. Will come back.

Go for the seafood. If desserts are your thing forget it. I was impressed with the quality of their fresh seafood. The mussels were small but tasty —sauce delicious. Oysters and clam’s excellent. Crab salad nice although maybe offering extra crab as an extra would be good. Fettuccine with clams tasty

The food was really delicious here. They had options for my child with celiacs disease. Definitely my favorite in Northport Village now.

Fantastic woman chef, great martinis menu is always different and everything’s perfect service the owners always in and out checking and making sure everything‘s going. Perfect bartenders really know how to make wonderful drinks and all drinks are expensive today so you really want a good drink for your money and that’s a sure thing here , the owner really knows how to run his business is very family like to his employees. You can tell it’s a great atmosphere everything is pleasing and you always leave with a great experience. I really hope they bring the Englemans theaters prefix menu back.
That was a lot of fun great way to try the place and to see how amazing it is and you always keep coming back ! Something on the menu for everybody! I applaud the owner for being hands-on and looking for excellence, not only at the Harbor house, but at his other the bistro as well I’m always bouncing back-and-forth between the two and I always recommend them to everybody first, when they come in to town since I work in the area!

Kevin the manager and Caroline the server were amazing and the extended their hospitality to my family and friends. During the busy dinner rush they were able squeeze a table in for us. Caroline was attentive and friendly to the whole family. Not only was the service and hospitality reason enough to return but the food was impeccable. Great cuisine that delivered on quality and taste. Fresh fish and oysters, delicious veal and a well paired wine list. I’ll be back for a date with my wife or with the family. I highly recommend it.

DELICIOUS food, excellent service. So happy we got the chance to eat here. Northport restaurants are top notch…add HARBOR HOUSE to your list!

I am reluctant to write this review only because I am selfish. I don't want this restaurant to become so popular that it becomes impossible to get a reservation. I have eaten here MANY times in the last 2 years. NEVER a bad or mediocre meal. It does not matter, fish or otherwise, always dynamite. Ownership and staff are the bomb! Be sure to pay attention to the daily specials.

Good food, friendly staff. Showed up with parents, and my two kids, 7,8 years old. Let us know the kids menu, but kids asked for steak so they made a smaller steak portion with fries and vegetables kids picked out. Was nice that they were able to be accommodating.
