Rockabilly Barbers of Stony Brook

Rockabilly Barbers is a real nice spot for a trim, buzz or a shape up. Anyone that I see leaving looks sharper than when they arrived. Everyone working there is professional and will take the time to listen to what I have to say and are respectful. For me, I won't need to look anywhere else for a cut. BTW, for first timers, the barbershop doesn't face the road, look for the driveway in-between two other businesses that leads to a handful of business that will be on your left side.

Very friendly and nice people and good haircut and good prices and offers just be warned no credit and only cash so bring cash with you and enjoy the kind atmosphere and everything if i could give more than 5 i would have give. You can check the before and after pictures.

I have been getting my haircuts here for over 20 years now.. this place is the BEST on the island. all the barbers are VERY knowledgeable and respectful. i use Vinny who knows how to cut my very unique flattop.. The atmosphere in this place fits the name and they always have great music and movies playing to entertain their costumers while they wait.

They are actually good at it. Would recommend if you are looking for a haircut.

This place is the best around Stony Brook! I recently moved to this area back in 2021! I was struggling to find a great barbershop. Until I went and meet Vince. I showed up without an appointment and Vince took good care of me. Since then I started coming and Jerome did one my hair cut. His professionalism and talent was by far one of the best I ever had. I totally recommend Rockabilly Barber Shop at Stony Brook to anyone! This guys really Rock!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🔥

Vinnie could not be kinder and more patient with my 89 year old father. Not only does he give him an awesome cut and shave he also takes the time to chat with him. Seeing Vinnie for his haircut is honestly the highlight of his month. I can't say enough about how wonderful this shop is.

Been going here since I was a kid and my mom took me, than I experimented with other places just to try and came right back. The guys are great owner Vinny is an amazing guy. I’ve tried many other places notbing is a friendly and good as rockabilly. I use Gerome, extremely experienced and nice guy. Listens to instruction and can help you figure out what your looking for if you don’t know. If your looking for a new shop this is the place hands down!

My hair has been messed up alot since I been out here for college, finally my friend recommended to this place. Jerome is the guy, always makes sure he's got what you want right and if there are any discrepancies he asks you again. Perfect service they have a customer for the rest of college with me.

Went to this location yesterday when the E. Northport location was closed. Nice overall atmosphere and excellent music. Got a cut from Jerome. Super nice, super cool dude and a great barber. I've been letting my hair grow the past 8 months so he definitely had a job on his hands and it came out exactly how it wanted it. I found a new barber and shop. He and the other guy working were both funny and cool. See you next time!

We go to get my sons haircut by Nick. He’s an amazing barber and so good with my son!! The whole vibe there is amazing. Vinny is the owner and always talks with us. Get customer service and my sons cut is always amazing!!! Thanks guys.

I've known about this shop for a long time but figured it was nothing special. I was extremely wrong. The staff here is excellent and the haircuts are even better. I've gone here a few times now to get my hair and beard cut. Everyone is really friendly and they take their time. I've been to plenty of other barbers that make you feel like they want to get you in and out of the seat as fast as possible for the next customer. Great price and the service is fantastic.

I came from VA for my sister's graduation, it was right next to Stoney Brooke. They got me out the way understood I needed to look fresh gave me one of the best fades I ever had , funny barbershop talk that we don't have to much of in VA. I would definitely recommend this place to visitors and !people the already live as round the area

Love this place. Been taking my boy there for over year. Nick does a great job on his hair. Every time I go, I run into friends, so the banter gets going. Vinnie, the owner, did a great job getting the place updated for Covid after he reopened, and the place is as safe as can be. This is a true old time barber shop. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Jerome gave my son what he describes as "the best haircut of his life". He listened to him and gave him the exact cut he was looking for. Awesome experience!

Vincent is legitimately one of the best barbers I've ever had the pleasure of getting a haircut from, straight up 10/10! Do not wait, just go and see for yourself.

and Nick have all cut my hair and they all have done a fantastic job.
Complete professionalism, along with great atmosphere and your typical barbershop banter.

I pass at least 5 other barbers to get to this location, make sure you book in advance. Jerome is my guy, best hair and beard cut I've ever had.

Had a decent haircut. Made a reservation for SBU Discount (student discount) but was charged in full. Would recommend it to others.
