So surprised that there were crowds of ppl during lunch time, but their service was still quick, efficient and friendly. This place is upscale and well decorated with enough seats, a bar with screens, private dining rooms and an open kitchen.
The lunch combo is a good choice for lunch with a turkey sandwich, a small cup of soup and salad. The today’s soup was chicken chili tasting amazing with perfect spicy level and sweet croutons. The sandwich also tasted great with soft buttered buns and sour guacamole. Anyway, it is a 5-star restaurant with decent food, service and vibe for business or fun.

Had dinner with some colleagues while traveling for work. The Asian salad I got was so interesting and tasty! Loved the combination of cold noodles, crunchy wonton noodles, and chicken. It’s like a hybrid between a salad and a noodle dish. Atmosphere was relaxing and service was great.

What a beautiful dinner and celebration we had with friends here. We had reservations and were seated early by very pleasant hostesses. Our waitress and the manager helped us celebrate 2 birthdays and an upcoming birth with free desserts and amazing service. The people here really made our Vista exceptional. I loved the candlelight and decor, and the food was delicious, hot, and cooked correctly. My husband had the half chicken - he loved it. I had a delicious cheeseburger. Some of our party ordered drinks that came out with a smoking orange on top!! It was really entertaining and fun to see! My husband said the drinks were strong which he appreciated:) And dessert... was my favorite - brownie with Spanish peanuts and ice cream. Thank you for making our celebration (and probably last adult dinner out for a while with a new baby coming) absolutely perfect!!

I had the sea bass and my husband ordered the strip steak, we both also had a Caesar salad. For dessert I had the salted nut brownie. Everything was delicious! My meal has an Asian flair and my husband's strip simply melted in your mouth. The salads and dessert were equally as good! Great service and relaxing atmosphere! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Hudson 29 offers an upscale but straight ahead American restaurant and bar. The dark wood and thoughtful accent lighting design (emphasis: design) create a chill escape for drinks and dinner.

Special dietary needs or preferences? The kitchen is happy to accommodate. We do a low-carb keto version of the dip trio, for example, cutting out the carby stuff in favor of non starchy veg. So appreciated.

Drinks menu is great, with a lot of popular house specialties. Solid wine list with very good selections by the glass. Monday brings half price bottles of wine - a bargain given the already reasonable daily bottle prices. Happy hour 7 days a week (should I repeat that?).

Come early or make a reservation: do not expect to sail in 5-8pm hoping to get seated. More likely, you'll only get a glimpse of people who planned ahead, enjoying themselves at the bar or at their tables.

Speaking of the bar: sit there if you can. The bartenders offer full menu service with great personality no matter how busy the place gets.

FANTASTIC experience, well worth the price! Took Mom and Dad there for their 50th anniversary, and it was an evening to remember. Private soundproofed room and attentive waitstaff - both taking the orders and serving - made it feel like a very fancy event. A nice variety of dishes to choose from, but not overwhelming. Something for everyone, and everyone left stuffed to the gills and satisfied.

We had 14 people in our party, so it was amazing that all the food came out all at the same time, hot, and correct to each person.

Every single dish we ordered was made with the highest quality ingredients, from the dips to the cheese rolls, to the salads, to the chicken sandwiches, to my lovely, exquisite, succulent piece of sea bass. Hands down the best piece of bass I've ever eaten, anywhere. Cooked to perfection. Generous portions, but again, not overdoing it. Hudson 29 really has found a great balance between quality and quantity.

Drinks flowed copiously, and they were also made with style and balanced proportions of alcohol. I had a "honey and whiskey" and it was unique and strong but very yummy.

Don't forget to try their bite-size pineapple upside-down donuts, made fresh to order.

If you have a special occasion to celebrate, this is the place.

Amazing atmosphere! Had an amazing dinner with my coworkers. The ny strip with potatoes and Brussel sprouts was excellent!

Went here for a holiday dinner for my small office and it was amazing! Our server was very patient as we were super indecisive on what we were going to get. But there seemed to be 0 wrong choices. The food was great and you could tell they were made to order as everything was super hot (especially the donuts). Price IS higher than normal but seems to match the vibes and food quality so no complaints. Lighting was very low and things were harder to see but definitely a vibe. Parking is slightly difficult to find but there is a free garage right next door so it's not too bad!

I dined here last night for the first time. Our server, Nate, was excellent and knowledgeable. We had the King Kong sushi roll, Chicken Pappardelle, Center cut Filet, and carrot cake donuts. The food was incredible! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Hudson 29 is one of our favorites. We celebrated our anniversary there today. The food was excellent. We always enjoy the Ahi Tuna appetizer. The French Dip and Hudson Cheeseburger were great as usual. Our server was helpful and very nice.

I’m incredibly pleased with my evening here at Hudson 29. Tessa the hostess managed to squeeze us in on quite a busy night, as it was New Year’s Eve. We owe her our lives. The buttered rolls were especially delicious and Tina our serve was great as well. Will definitely return soon.

Awesome! Food was incredible, try the Sea Bass and the Scallops. Stuffed butter rolls are indescribable and delicious. Good drinks, friendly staff, nice ambiance.

I have been several times and have always had a wonderful experience! But this last time we took our daughter who is 7. Our server Jeffro, was so kind and attentive to her. Made the experience extra special. Appreciate the kindness! And the filet was perfection!

Great food & drinks! The team is knowledgeable about the menu, and is a well oiled group. This is one of my go to places when I want to celebrate something special.

Absolutely love Hudson 29! The french dip sandwich is amazing. All of their side dishes are also great as well as the flatbreads. The bar staff is always so friendly and eager to help even when they are busy. There is a good variation in the crowd that comes in which makes it feel so inviting. Make sure you ask for the dessert list with the cocktails and bourbon. They have a great selection for really nice prices on said list.

I have been to Hudson 29 twice. Once to meet someone for drinks and then recently for my birthday dinner with my mom. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is top notch. Then there’s the food... absolutely delicious and not super expensive!! I made reservations through Open Table and added the fact that we were celebrating a birthday and that I am gluten free. They were ready for both when we arrived and they brought me a gluten free birthday treat after dinner complete with a candle. Parking is free in the ground floor covered garage by the way.

I chose this resteraunt for me and my fiancé’s date night. I must say this was an excellent choice. We were greeted and seated quickly. Two staff member ensured that were were treated with excellent customer service. The cheese rolls came out of the kitchen fresh and hot. For our drinks we both had a delicious sangria made by talented bar tenders. And for dinner we chose the ribs. The ribs were so delicious. The slab was filled with flavor and fell right off the bone. Along with this we had French fries and coleslaw that i eventually replaced with French fries because I can’t stand coleslaw. Overall the experience was amazing. We chose a great day to have dinner because it wasn’t crowded, we had privacy, and the scenery was amazing. I love how each table has a lit candle and a display of many wines. We chose a Thursday to visit, so if you decide to go on the weekends, don’t expect the same chill crowd. A lot of people eat out on the weekends, so wait times everywhere are usually longer and the waiters,waitresses, and bartenders are usually more busy trying to serve everyone. I'm very thankful for receiving the attention that we got from our waiter and waitress. Remember to be kind and always thank the people who are serving you. Times are hard right now and for some people, it's a battle to get out of bed everyday.
