Alexandria Public Library

It was my first time visiting the city of Alexandria and this beautiful library. I ran into one of my favorite AAU basketball coaches, Spencer. He was the first AAU coaches that my daughters played for, and I have so much admiration for him. Life is about Purpose.Places.People.

Amazing!!!!!! This sweet little, unassuming library is a hidden treasure. We were greater with actual smiles when we entered. The librarian showed us around, interacted with the children and had wonderful recommendations. It wasn't just the great selection or the way it was clearly organized, it was the environment. It is the type of place you want to spend the afternoon. The large libraries have started to seem inconveninced by people and sterile....not the Alexandria Public Library. We have found our library home and it is worth a drive.

This is such a amazing library. Yes it's small but has plenty of everything to read. The librarians are so sweet and really work with you when your little ones lose their books. Thursday nights they usually always have book readings, movie nights and even the parks department come. I will take this small town library over any big town massive library.

Alexandria is beautiful. This library is a little small but the kids like it and there aren't drunk tradies loudly talking to their baby mamas on the phone like in Newark.

Friendly staff. Wide variety of books and multiples in categories so we can choose the resource that meets our needs. Creative children's programs.

Great small town library. Has a great selection, they partner with other libraries, so if they don't have it you can borrow it from another library.

The backs of the books are out off. Stamped on book .Unfortunately we are returning without buying the book.
