Lobdell Reserve

The trails are in great shape. They have several picnic tables along with a port a potty for a restroom. They allows dogs and horses. There were two horses being loaded up when I got there. It wasn’t busy or crowded at all. There is plenty of parking available. I do wish they offered trail maps but I was able to pull one up online. I look forward to going back when I have more time to explore.

Lovely mixed biome park, beautiful wildflowers, wooded wetland, and meadow birds. Trails pretty swampy, as expected after record-wet few days. Some small fossils along the stream banks!

Very good disc golf park with horse back / hiking trails that pass thru from time to time.

Love this place. *edit: 7-9-22* still an awesome place. trees are being allowed to grow in full on the upper trail on the "horse trail side" look beautiful & add protection. lots of subtle changes on the frisbee golf side as well. for people who love the outdoors and frisbee golf, you could spend a whole day here exploring, walking & playing. important reminder... keep your dogs on a leash. *Google requested edit 9-16-23* we go almost weekly and never tire of this park. *Google requested edit 11-18-23* Great on the fall 🍁!

Beautiful place to take a hike. Horse and dog friendly too. The creek is peaceful and serene.

Best course in the central Ohio area. Make the drive and play it. You wont regret it.

A very nice and serene series of paths in a cozy area with plenty of space. Hikers, bikers, and horses are welcome!

Perfect spot that is never crowded with people. We've rarely seen another person on the trails. The trails do allow horses so there is always poop.

This place is absolutely amazing! I can't wait to come back and relax!

Beautiful park with rolling hills, wooded areas, a small creek and a fantastic disc golf course. The disc golf course has both long and short tees and a great variety of shots. The longs especially demand good distance and accuracy. This is a fairly quick drive from Columbus and is generally very uncrowded.

Trails are in great shape!!

Got a chance to take the horses out with some friends to Lobdell and it was amazing! Not a challenging trail at all! Just nice and relaxing (mostly flat with a few slight ups and downs). There was at least one pretty challenging trail but we just happened upon it and figured we might as well do it. You're not forced to do it to get to the rest of the reserve which is nice. Would highly recommend this for horse people!

Nice running, walking and horse 🐴 trails. Plenty of parking. Some shady trails going down to the river and disc golf course. (if just disc golfing, then park at the lower entrance on Battee road.) A few places have hoof marks, so watch your step. Several different loops of trails well marked with different colors so you can get from 0.7 miles up to around 5 miles of trail. Very quiet.

One of my favorite places to play disc golf. Beautiful course, peaceful, well maintained. Pretty year round, fun layout. Def worth the drive, and it drains well (when others dont). If you play, take care of this gem please :) 🥏

Lots of trails, some cross the water at multiple spots. Lots of places to explore.
Horses are allowed in certain areas, frisbee golf in others.
Gorgeous drive back to Columbus at sundown using 161.

Beautiful space and the disc golf course was top notch. Not a very easy course, and some pretty good hills. Well maintained and not too far from Columbus to be a regular visit.

A really unique disc golf course. But plays really long and takes a good deal of time to complete. At places like Blendon Woods and Area 51 you can complete a leisurely round in 50 minutes to an hour. This course will take 2 hours, so give yourself time.
