Tan Ernesto MD

I had seen Dr. Tan for years. He is the best doctor there is. When i had both of my kids i took them there. Now they are grown. And my daughter had 2 kids of her own and she took them there and they to loved Dr. Tan. He has such a loving, caring personality and took time with each and every patient. Not like most doctors just in and out of the rooms. We sure do miss you Dr. Tan!!!!!

Oh boy I can’t even begin to sing this doctors praises. Now I have not seen him in a good 20 to 25 years… I first saw him at a little urgent care type of clinic on Harrison Avenue in Cheviot.

I’m betting he had not been out of medical school for very long. He worked with another fantastic dr..Dr Saba... but Dr Tan was just so genuine and personable I have never forgotten him.

Here is what happened when I first met him… My mother was a very ill woman with COPD really bad. Other health problems to--

I hate to say this but my mom was not a very nice person. She had been seeing him a couple of months and on one particular visit I went back into the examining room with her…

After he was done talking to her he looked at me and said “ and how are you doing? It sounds like you stay very busy? “

She had told him how I was a single mom, worked three jobs and was raising my son who at that time was only three or four years old and he was with us too.

I thought that was so sweet because I wasn’t there for a visit… But I’m sure he could tell my mom was a handful lol.

I liked him so much I stopped going to the family doctor I had been going to since I was like 13 or 14 years old. But Dr. Tan was closer anyway so it was a double benefit. I went to him for several years.

The only reason I stopped going to him, I got married and moved pretty far away from his office there in Westwood.

I don’t know if they are still married but his wife Jane was his nurse when he went to his own private practice. And she is a sweetheart too.

It’s been a long time but I bet he is still that same wonderful guy he was back then. You know how most doctors are kinda

If you go to him tell him Vicki and Dominica sent you. Tell him we’re the girls who used to come to his office there in Westwood and at the little urgent care type of place on Cheviot Road a million years ago when his daughter was first born. And we were the girls that used to go boating on the river all the time LOL 😂

I doubt he would remember us but he’s SUCH a sweetheart he just might remember...at least he’s the type of person that makes you feel like he would remember you. That’s just how special he makes you feel. 😍
