Heid’s Barber Shop

I brought my son in for his first professional haircut. Kevin gave him a stellar cut and fade. Made my son feel welcome and had him laughing in no time. Was a wonderful first barber experience for him. The waiting area had relaxing comfortable reclining chairs. Easily accommodated myself plus 3 kids and multiple customers waiting. There's a huge TV and a backroom with mini arcade games for the kids. I looked around and researched before I decided on Heid's. But honestly, the main reason I came here was only after reading the reviews. The good reviews yes, but especially the very few single star reviews and the responses to them. Had me and my daughter cracking up. Thank you, Kevin! Will definitely be bringing my son back here. Also, thanks for putting up with my 2 year old while we tried to wait patiently! Your empathy is much appreciated.

This was my first visit and I was totally impressed by the atmosphere, but more importantly in the haircut and beard trim. Kevin did an outstanding job! I will definitely be a return customer.

I stopped in on Thursday afternoon for the first time. I will cut the chase. Kevin is outstanding in every capacity as a barber. The shop is super clean and very laid back with plenty of room if you do have to wait. Highly recommend checking this shop out. I will be there every three weeks.

Wanted to try a barber shop instead of cutting my hair at home and decided to go to Heid's. I asked him for what i was wanting and did it better then i could of imagined. I explained that I have autism and I am very sensitive to touch and he did a very good job of not pushing me around. He is very nice and very friendly to everyone. I recommend him for anyone who is sensitive to being touched or just wants a nice hair cut by a nice gentleman

Kevin is just great in every way! He does great work for more than a fair price, he's friendly and inviting, he is extremely knowledgeable, and the environment is phenomenal! I definitely recommend him for any an all haircuts and/or beard trims!!

My son and I visited for the first time today. This will be our go to place from now on. My 10 y/o son likes a little design in his fade. Kevin said he usually doesn't do that but he'd give it a shot and it was great. We're both very happy with our visit. Great convo in the shop as well. I hardly ever give 5 stars, however I enjoyed my visit there! Best haircut I have had in years. The atmosphere is great, and the waiting chairs are awesome. This is my go to Barbershop from now on. If you didn't pick up on how happy I am let me say this is the best barber shop I have visited!!

I’ve struggled a long time with haircuts and strangers touching my head but long story short I think I’ve found the barber I will forever go to. Don’t hesitate to go here. Not only is the haircut incredibly clean, he is a very nice and family oriented person that clearly respects and appreciates his customers.

One of the best haircuts I have ever had! Took his time to fix a cut that another barber butchered. He was nice to chat with as well. When in town he will be my go to barber!

I had been going to Ray's Barbershop for haircuts by Ray and Kevin for years. I have a lot of cowlicks and can't just go to any barber or salon because it is difficult to cut the way I like it. When Kevin opened up his shop last year I moved over as well. Kevin does a great job with kids and adults a like.
With the word getting out about his great service and clean building he is always busy. Plan on being there an hour or so. He has a great TV with recliners, drink machine and video games for the kids.
I believe Kevin does so well because his mother works in a salon, he has coached youth sports, just a great person and Dad. You will get a great conversation while you are there and it almost feels akward when you leave because you had such a great time and don't want to leave. The cost is a bit higher what you pay elsewhere but I pay more for quality and Kevin is Quality. Thank you for all you do for the community Kevin.

If you are looking for an old school barbershop with a modern flair, this is the place to go. I will warn you, wait times might be long (just like Ray Schaffer's White Oak shop), but it is well worth it. Kevin is an outstanding barber, great with the kids, and does a better job (and more) than Great Clips for about the same price. Did an excellent job on my boys (haircut) and myself (beard and haircut). Put the cellphone down while you are there, enjoy and partake in the great conversations, relax and enjoy your time there.

FINALLY! A great barber on the West Side! I was so happy the first time I went in. Kevin is just an awesome person, it's like finding a new friend during a haircut. His shop is just perfect for us guys to hang out and relax a bit. I had the best haircut of my life! It's amazing how much easier it is to take care of your hair when someone who really knows their trade did the job right. Just went back a few days ago and same great experience! Keep up the great work!

Amazing business, with great people. My car slid into a ditch right next to Heid’s barbershop while it was snowing. While being in tears waiting for Triple A, a client waiting for his haircut as well as Kevin (the owner of the shop) came out to check on me and car to make sure we were both alright. They invited me in, and as we sat in the very comfortable reclining chairs I noticed the attention to detail while designing. From the airplane seat for children, arcade like games, custom made chairs, down to the 70 year old vintage cash register. His hospitality goes unmatched and his kindness was greatly appreciated. Needless to say, my boyfriend will now be going to Heids for all his haircuts & will be recommended to all of our friends.

If you want a haircut/trim in a corporate setting, please go elsewhere. If you long a classic barbershop where you sit down and socialize while sipping a cold beverage waiting for your turn in the chair, this is the shop for you. Oh, he is also one of the best barbers in Cincinnati. He is great at his craft.

Great barber. I went to my last barber for 52 years before he retired. Kevin has been great and kept me very satisfied with his haircuts. He also has a great personality. Hope he lasts the next 52 years too!😁

My son and I went to Kevin for the first time today. We both received great haircuts and the experience was top notch. I am happy to have found a great barber shop on this side of town. Highly Recommend.
