The 86 Coffee Bar

We came here for our Saturday morning coffee date! The atmosphere is nice, they have an upstairs that is great for working/studying or just hanging out. We had a cinnamon late and a bottomless drip coffee. Both were great! We also had a bagel and a blueberry scone, they were good!
We’d probably be back for the atmosphere!

As a coffee lover, I drank 2 or 3 types of coffee and I liked it very much, it was fresh and delicious. Even chocolate cakes.
Prices are very affordable, quality service, friendly and kind stuff. Excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

This is a fun trendy spot! As a person who has to “work”‘out of coffee shops often - I loved the multi-plugs and appreciated the casual atmosphere. The coffee was piping hot and so good!

Pretty popular place, given its location right next to the college campus. If you go during a popular time it may be really hard to find a seat/table, but the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is amazing otherwise. They even have rotating art showcased on their walls, available for purchase.

One of my favorite places around the UC campus. My go to is a vanilla matcha latte. The baristas always deliver.

There is good wifi and extension cords everywhere for power. If you’re looking for a chill place to work this is it.

The only let down: they don’t have whipped cream ☹

My favorite coffee shop in the UC area. I got the bottomless pour plus a chocolate cheesecake muffin (they have a good selection of breakfast bites and you can also bring in food from the deli next door or other places). No problems with their free WiFi. Lots of seating including upstairs and a nice patio out back.

I grabbed a quick coffee here while in the UC area. Relaxing spot to get some work done and plenty of space to sit on the two levels.

I’m originally from Columbus and desperately wish we had The 86 up here. The barista was incredibly friendly and recommended the white chocolate mocha, which was amazing. It’s large enough where you never need worry about finding a cozy spot to study. I would recommend this place to anybody

I loved coming to this little 2nd home type environment while in engineering school at UC music and vibes are always comforting and calming, something I always needed more of. Now coming back as a graduate it’s the same amazing place and I hope it stays this way for many many years to come :) Great place to study, read, talk, or just kill time. Their playlist is always bomb.

Best Hot Mocha Coffee, amazing Hot Chocolate. Love this shop first time but not my last. Service is just as good as the coffee

The coffee was excellent! It was so smooth, creamy, it just hit the right spot. The coffee was strong but it wasn't overpowering. Absolutely the best coffee in Cincinnati! We'll definitely be back!

This place completely fueled my college carrier. I think at one point my blood was primarily 86 house blend coffee. The guys who run the shop are fantastic and really good hearted people.

Pneuma roasts single origin coffee on site and have excellent relationships with the growers.

Shop local & support these guys! This is a perfect spot for studying solo or working on group projects.

Out of about fifty coffee shops I've been to around the country, this is my single favorite. Perfect atmosphere, kind baristas, great music, and pneuma coffee is fantastic. The only thing they could do is add a few more pastry/bakery options. I absolutely love this place. Will be sad to not have the 86 when I move to LA.

Went to a coffee cupping there and it was amazing. The amount of knowledge that the staff had the wonderful variety of coffee and a great atmosphere made it a perfect experience.

It's an awesome Café! Loved the ambience. Just perfect for a good date and evolving a romantic relationship! The coffee is just perfect with exact taste! Tee Jay was our man! He is simply great with a welcoming attitude and perfect at coffee making.

This place has a great vibe…especially the upstairs seating. I was looking for a good coffee shop in the nearby area to spend my morning and this turned out to be an excellent place. Good drinks options as well and the mocha I ordered was good.
