This place is frustrating to deal with at times. The people reviewing your permit applications constantly overlook things that are clearly marked/stated; or they ask for things that aren’t required per their own paperwork instructions. It really just depends on who you get that day. It would be nice if they fast tracked the applications they place on hold due to their oversights, but no, they make you wait an additional 10 days to hear back from them again. Additionally, when you go to pay for your permit. The email states you can pay at the customer service department or at the building department counter. Yet when you arrive, the customer service department doesn’t want to deal with it and sends you the building department instead. Whom conveniently likes to hold meetings the first hour that the offices are open. So, you have to either waste your time waiting or come back at a later date/time.
