Sumo Japanese Steakhouse

First time visiting this location with a friend and it was amazing! We were seated quickly although the lobby was picking up rapidly. We sat at the grill and had the most amazing cook! Super entertaining and accommodating. The lunch portion was HUGE so I could only imagine how big dinner is. I’d definitely return.

We loved our dinner at sumo. When it came out it was not very hot but they took care of that took it back to the kitchen and heated it up and it was absolutely fabulous. I appreciate the patience of our server and the kitchen staff they were very busy and I'm sure that's what caused the issue. But is it really an issue if they correct it? We didn't think so so we give it five stars.

I also ordered Hibachi Ribeye, not pictured here. The food here is great and I love the atmosphere. Always a good meal at Sumo’s!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sumo Japanese Steakhouse Hibachi Grill in Jonesboro, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by one of your exceptional hosts and then after a short wait our server, Megan, who promptly greeted our grill side table and took our order.

We ordered the Chicken and Steak entree with a double portion of fried rice, and we were not disappointed. Our cook, Parmin, was not only a skilled chef but also an entertaining performer.

He kept us engaged with his impressive knife skills and fun banter, all while cooking our food to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, and the fried rice was packed with flavor and just the right amount of seasoning. He engaged with all members of the table and even the little ones.

Megan, our server, was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent service throughout our meal.

We also indulged in some delightful adult beverages. The Peach Strawberry Sangria was refreshing and fruity, while the Volcano Bowl was a showstopper. The presentation was impressive, that added to the excitement.

In summary overall, I would highly recommend Sumo Japanese Steakhouse Hibachi Grill to anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience.

Great experience! We were here for my niece's 9th birthday, and she had a wonderful time! They brought her a special dessert, and sang happy birthday to her. Someone made her a balloon animal and her eyes and face were just lighted up the whole time! Food was great and service was great!

I met up with my friends to have lunch on a Sunday. Of course we ordered Hibachi chicken. It was excellent. I found out that the yum yum sauce has dairy in it so do not order the yum yum sauce here if you have a dairy allergy because they said they put half and half milk in it for some weird reason. The ginger sauce was a great substitute.

A most wonderful time had by all. Very nice atmosphere, great service, excellent food. There was a wait but it was worth it. I absolutely recommend giving them a try.

Food is consistently good. Service is usually very prompt. However our last visit, the kids item was forgotten on our order, so it was delayed to arrive.

We are from out of town (Alabama) and traveling to Missouri to visit family and decided to stop in. The food and service was top notch! 👌 easily one of the best hibachi places we've tried! Will stop by next time we pass through.

Filet and shrimp was cooked perfectly. The vegetables amd rice were a little oily but didn't really detract from taste. Chef took my special request quickly and courteously. Service was good as well. Overall good experience.

Food was amazing and sushi appetizer was splendid! I recommend the Riptide roll for any sushi enthusiasts. Love the grill show and rapid food making skills! Always enjoy my time here!

I loved it, their sushi is great, and I love their rice, steak, chicken, and vegetables, I would definitely recommend if you like Japanese Food.

I would give it a ten Star review if I could I loved the food and the worker's were so nice I would love to go back there again.

Love the food, it's kind of expensive but definitely worth it. The servers are so amazing!
