Baker's Acres Greenhouse

Beautiful place, i’ve been addicted lately. Great prices, quality plants as well. I did have one encounter with pest and two others with root rot. Its too far to run back or try to deal with exchanging. But 3 out of 50 is not bad at all. I definitely recommend checking it out. With that being said, I only shop the house plants.

Phenomenal greenhouse! Vast varieties of variegated plants, and all types of philodendrons. The carnivorous plants are some of my favorites, and I was lucky to scoop up several! All the plants from Baker's Acres look healthy and stay healthy too!

A beautiful place to visit... and shop! Healthy plants of wide variety. Lots of great options, and a pleasure to just stroll around and take in the different forms and textures and colors.

Excellent family owned nursery with quality and diverse selection! We especially enjoy their annual spring Almost All Night Extravaganza sale, with good sales, good food and good music by founder Chris Baker's band, The Hip Replacements! They are a wonderful family with a great sense of humor.

Came to visit from the mitten state and I'll defiantly be making the drive to visit again in the future. Wonderful tropical/houseplant selection and I was blown away with how good the prices were + the plants are nice n healthy! Id give them 10 stars if I could because I was mind blown. 🥰

So many different plants and flowers to choose from. Several we had never seen before. I thought they had great prices. The folks were super kind and very helpful! Please try this fine establishment!!!

Just about as good as it gets for interesting selection of perennials tender perennial and annual plants for the garden as well as unusual tropicals, begonias, succulents and an outstanding collection of coleus including Baker's own hybrids. A must visit for garden fanatics.

Drove a couple hours to check this place out and was surprised at how healthy the plants are and the fair prices. They have a variety of plants and a nice little “rare” plant section with a good variety. Will definitely return in the future.

They have varieties that I can’t find anywhere else. Baker’s Acres keeps our porch and property beautiful with their healthy plants.

Very nice plant store with more unusual or rare houseplants. Already planning a return visit.

Took a trip two days ago from Wheeling, WV with my girlfriend and we are in LOVE with this place!! We are all about indoor plants, and they never disappoint with the variety of plants they offer. The pricing is also very reasonable in comparison to other plant shops we have been to. We never leave there empty handed, and it's usually with more than one plant. Can't wait to go back!

This is my heaven!! I absolutely love this nursery. Amazing flowers for reasonable prices. You get what you pay for because the quality of the flowers are a 10!!!! I have been going here for almost 4 years now. I even find myself traveling 45 minutes to get my yearly supply. Happy flower day!!!

Had a super selection even later in the season large strong plants

Traveled a little over an hour and a half to visit this greenhouse with my mother in law and my two little girls. We had heard good things but wanted to check it out for ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the door as this greenhouse completely exceeded our expectations. The greenhouse was very clean, the plants were mature and beautiful, prices were fair and the employees were right there to answer questions and chat with us. Not to mention, their selection of plants both rare and common is unlike any I’ve seen before. We will be making the drive back very soon! Thank you Bakers Acres!!

This is the best place for vegetable plants ready to go into a back yard or community garden. The variety is amazing, and while their prices are higher than other greenhouses in the area, the survivability of their plant is superior. Terrific family business. They even offer demonstrations on the best way to plant, flowers, vegetables and small trees.

Best nursery in the area with unusual herbs and vegetable offerings and some tropical plants

Extremely knowledgeable staff, common and rare plants, anything you could want for indoor or out! I love going here as it seems like there's something new everytime i visit.

I’ve been shopping this greenhouse for decades because they carry plant varieties that you don’t see anywhere else including heirloom tomatoes. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and nice. I’ve never written a review for them until today. Today one of their longtime employees, Tina, helped me above and beyond and I wanted to be sure that she receives the accolades she deserves. Thank you Tina, so very much!
