Calm, experienced and excellent vet. Highly recommend this clinic. Our dog was injured and the initial care she received at a different clinic was what we’ll call “sub-optimal”…Dr. Matt cleaned her up, sutured her up and had her back running around joyfully in no time…and for less than the initial “sub-optimal” vet’s charge!

Caring for your pet no nonsense with people. Best diagnostics vet in Topeka! Seems like from what I have witnessed nothing is too big or small. Even a severely broken toenail we got right in!

Dr. Z is always very attentive to my pets. He always answers my calls and gives me advice over the phone instead of making me make an appointment everytime. You can tell he deeply cares for his patients.

We have had Dr. Z for our two dogs for several years. He has performed surgery on one dog twice, and assisted us tremendously with taking care of our other dog after she experienced a grand mal seizure, ultimately we had to euthanize her. Dr. Z was so compassionate, kind and empathetic during an incredibly difficult time saying goodbye to our dog. He came to our home so us and our sweet dog could be in the comfort of our home to say our final goodbyes. You can tell how much he truly loves and cares for animals. We love him and will always take our animals to him as long as he is in practice.

Dr. Matt is caring and knowledgeable, and I can’t recommend him enough. He’s by far as good as they come!

This is the most caring and empathetic vet clinic I've ever been to. When my two surviving kitties were fighting for their lives after a horrible apartment fire, these folks made sure to do everything in their power to heal them and make them comfortable. They also did everything they could to give us comfort during this time, especially since one of our precious kitties didn't make it out of the fire. I could recommend anyone more highly. These people are doing God's work.

Dr Matt was our vet a few years before moving to NC. He is always so kind and patient, we are happy to be back under his care. Got us in same day for emergency and so reasonable. Highly recommend!

It's a small business that's run by just the vet. He's extremely nice, very helpful, and even offered to stay late so we could stop by when we called with concerns about our cat.

We were able to get in quickly, both my cat and my husband and I were treated kindly and our concerns taken seriously, and the Dr. Zupka made to to explain in detail what we needed for our cat and why. He also said don't hesitate to call if things got worse and that the after hours emergency line went directly to him.

Brought my 5 month old rescue puppy in after she got in a tussle with a stray cat and was getting lamer instead of better. Even though we were new patients, the team fit us in that day. Dr. Z found a tiny injury I'd overlooked. When I say he went over my pup with a magnifier, I mean that literally. We're so excited to have found the team at Sherwood as we just moved to the area and needed a new vet. One visit is all it took; patients for life.

Love love love Dr. Zupka. We have been taking our pets here for years, and he does not disappoint. He's knowledgeable and kind to our pets, and reasonably priced!!

Great vet, friendly and helpful. Our three dogs actually get excited when we go in to see Dr. Zupka, and they have not always liked other vets we have gone to. He has always been accommodating when we need to come in with short notice and his prices are fair.

Dr. Z has been so loving and caring to my two dogs. Dr Z has also went above an beyond while caring for my parents dog. Dr Z has a small office with not much support staff but his care is unmatched and his prices are reasonable! Would NOT take my pet anywhere else.

Dr. Z is amazing! Our dogs love him! I can call any time I have a problem or a concern and he gives us options or will set us up with a appointment right away! He is highly recommend by our family!

This Dr is extremely professional and nice. I'm glad I switched to Sherwood Animal Clinic. He lets you be in there with your pet where as Potwin wouldn't even let you leave your car. 10 stars! 🤗

Dr. Zupka genuinely cares for my dog and her health. When unexpectedly my dog could not walk he rearranged his clinic schedule on 2 occasions so Zoey could be evaluated same day.

Dr. Z is my favorite vet to go to in Topeka! He listens to the concerns over my pets and always genuinely cares for them while they are there! Fair prices at a great vet!
