Rooster Run Cafe

I live in Salt Lake and stopped by this place on the way back from Zion. Man, I wish it was a chain! SLC needs one of these restaurants. My only complaint is on myself because I wish I hadn’t passed on dessert - their pies looked so tempting! The food was delicious, flavorful, and the perfect temperature. I got the veggie pasta with a baked potato and my date got the Impossible burger with sweet potato fries. Both of us couldn’t stop raving about how good it was (not sure if that was because we were famished from a long day of hiking, but it definitely hit the spot!). The service was also outstanding and I also couldn’t get enough of their freshly brewed iced tea (even though it wasn’t sweet); being from Georgia it’s hard to find good tea in Utah, but this place does it right! 10/10 recommend and will most definitely be back on my next outing down that way.

Wow that was fast. We sat ordered and ate in less than 20 minutes. The coffee was really good. Our omelettes were amazing. And service, impeccable. The food was really good. I had the Western omelette without peppers. Yummy. My husband had the ham and cheese omelette and he enjoyed it very much. The country potatoes they serve are really good.

Went during lunch in the middle of the week. Got the club. It was huge. Service was pretty good. Restaurant was pretty clean. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Prices were reasonable. Would go there again.

Definitely great place to eat. My husband and I are traveling with my brother and his family from Germany and on our travels to Zion and Bryce Canyon we picked the Rooster Run Cafe as our choice for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, the speedy and super friendly service and just the overall great atmosphere. If you're heading to Zion, Hurricane is a great place to spend the night and find great places to eat. I highly recommend the Rooster Run Cafe. Sorry, I didn't take pics of everyone's meal because it was just too great to wait.

Stopped by for lunch while passing through. This is a great little diner.

Staff was friendly and attentive. We were sat at a table promptly, and greeted by our waitress quickly.

The menu was decent size, but not overwhelming. I got a reuben and my daughter got a turkey supreme.

The bread was toasted perfectly, and the sandwiches had a generous amount of toppings. The topping were piled a little more in the middle than spread out evenly, which is a pet peeve of mine, but not as bad as most places. That was my only complaint.

Service was quick, food was terrific. Restrooms were tidy. Would definitely come here again.

Everything looked so good! Their food is made to order and homemade. I had chicken fried steak. It was amazing! We didn't have dessert, but their desserts looked delicious! Service was great, the restaurant was clean. The parking lot looks full every time we drive by, which is another great sign. Highly recommend. They have healthy options too.

Excellent service and plenty of homemade, freshly made options on the menu. We came in for some last-minute slice of cake and it was DELICIOUS. Super moist, not too-rich and not too loaded with frosting.

Great place, the food was well prepared/plated, and was delicious. Friendly wait staff, good atmosphere. The portion sizes were very large, I could barely finish my meal even with a 20 hour fast. For example, the buttermilk biscuit was about the size of a burger bun, and the pancake filled out the 10" plate. Not really a demerit per se, just something to be aware of.

Awesome place. Delicious food, huge portions. Ordered the fish and chips and they came with awesome French fries and a delicious home made tarter sauce. And a large side salad. Wish we lived locally and could go back!

Eating at the Rooster Run Cafe was a delight! Julie Amanda served us and she is a treasure; charming, witty, and just fun to be around. The Chicken Fried Steak was fantastic and the Coconut Cream pie was delicious! Going back for sure to say hi to Julie Amanda again!

Great service, very personable people that work here. Food is good and they are very attentive throughout your meal. One of the best experiences I've had in a long time at a restaurant is that it's hard to find a good place to eat & good service, very welcoming.

A couple of years gone by, and I was in the area again and came back for a 2nd trip. The food is still really good, the service is great and accommodating for bigger parties.

Vanessa was awesome!! I’ve lived in this area for a few months and tried every restaurant nearby and she is the best server in this town. I was actually nervous to try anywhere else in this area and she changed my perspective. Aside from that the food was awesome I had the club sandwich and so did my grandma. We will definitely be back. Don’t hesitate to ask for her!

The property is easy to access from the highway. Rustic and inviting, the dining area is clean and organized. There is a wide variety of delicious food to choose from. My omolette reminded me of a home cooked meal with toast and hashbrowns.

The staff was very friendly and took care of everything we needed. The service was fast and food amazing. Highly recommended!

This review is long time coming. Happily surprised with both service and food quality. Best Ceasar Steak Salad. Hubby loved his Fish and Chips. Spaghetti and Meatballs were comforting. Liver and Onions out of this world. Breakfast hearty and delicious. You won't leave hungry.

it was a weird day but the waitress did everything in her power to take care of us. i ordered the steak and eggs, surprisingly the steak was tender and yummy. and i say surprisingly because, when has anyone gone to a breakfast place and received a good steak. it's unheard of. i would go every weekend if i didn't live all the way in ivins.

This could be my new favorite restaurant! Wish I lived closer to it, but we were just passing through. I had the Buffalo salad and I can't remember ever enjoying a salad more! The hubby had the Byson burger with onion rings. The rings were super crispy and delicious. Mikaela was our waitress and the service was great. She was friendly and quick. All in all I highly recommend this new little find!!

While in town, I stopped in with a party of 8. The service was great, and we had a great experience overall. Our meals were delicious and the portions were large. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. Specifically for the chicken and waffles, but everything is great.

This is one of my favorite family restaurants. I was told that it used to be a Bob's Big Boy restaurant. It has large windows and comfortable booth seating. There is also lunch counter seating. It's clean and appears newly remodeled.

We had the blueberry pancakes and they were delish!
