Asian Sun Martial Arts Taekwondo Karate of Wadsworth

Cannot say enough good things about this place. My daughter is in the Tiger Tots program and every class I am more and more impressed. It is the one thing I don't have to beg her to leave the house for. Master Kurzner is exceptional with every child. He somehow gives each one individual attention and is able to interact with the shyest and the orneriest children.

I have a 5 year old with autism, group activities and listening to instruction aren’t usually his strong suits, but I really wanted to try new activities to get him involved in. Soccer was a nightmare. Library groups are too quiet for him. But ever since he started his 6 week trial here he has been LOVING it!! He asks to come almost every day and is even “teaching” his preschool friends his new moves. I love how patient they are even when he’s having an off day and how enthusiastic all the staff are interacting with him. And he’s learned so much already! Thank you so much endlessly Asian Sun Wadsworth:) I’m so happy to see my baby happy.

Asian Sun Wadsworth is an amazing place with great instructors. My daughter started in the tiger tot program shortly after turning 4. She was very shy and unsure of herself. She is now getting ready to turn 6, is in the kids class and her confidence has grown to an incredible level! The instructors are very good with the students, teaching them respect, confidence, discipline among other aspects. The instructors teach the students that there are times to be serious and times to have fun. They are encouraging and truly care about their students. I am so glad I started my daughter there she loves it and she is learning so much, I wouldn't change my decision for anything! My daughter said "You learn to protect yourself and you have fun!"

I highly recommend Asian Sun Martial Arts in Wadsworth! The instructors are amazing and we have had an incredible experience so far. My son has been attending the children’s and family class for a little over 2 years and it has taught him an immense amount of confidence and respect. Our youngest daughter just started tiger tots and will be trying the children’s only class soon. She is loving it and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Thank you so much!!

Asian Sun Wadsworth is great. The instructors are amazing. They are very encouraging and both my kids really love it. My son has been going for several years now and is about to achieve his second degree blackbelt. This experience has improved his confidence and taught him how to make goals and work hard to achieve them. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Asian Sun - Wadsworth! The instructors are excellent - encouraging and engaging! My daughter loves it here and looking forward to signing up my son for Tiger Tots when he is old enough. I also love their access to karate tournaments - this is more than just learning karate, the students have opportunities to compete with the skills they learn.

Our daughter has been going to Asian Sun in Wadsworth for 3.5 years now, starting at the age of 4, and the instructors have been outstanding and she loves going. They do expect the kids to listen, it is martial arts and requires discipline, but the instructors, other students, and the parents are a great group of people. Master Kurzner and Mr. Kirkland are absolutely the best with the kids!

Asian Sun Wadsworth is top-notch. My daughter started 3.5 years ago as a super shy little girl. The instructors were incredibly patient with her, allowing her to start at her own comfort level and pace. She has grown beyond belief while attending. She is now far more confident then I ever would have imagined. The kids that attend this school are some of her best friends that have turned into more like family over the years. After a few years of watching her have all the fun I decided to join class with her. So rewarding to take family class with your child, not many sports that allow you do that. Best decision to start her here and we will continue her martial arts journey at this school and continue to watch her bloom.

Our oldest started in the Tiger Tots program at 4 yrs old. She has since graduated up to the children's/family class and is nearing her black belt. I feel the instructors are great with the kids. They are firm but kind. You can tell that the instructors really care about the kids. Classes are offered multiple times throughout the week, so you should be able to navigate a busy schedule. We plan to enroll our youngest once he is ready.

I can't say enough good things about Asian Sun Wadsworth. The instructors are patient and kind and will work with you to teach you martial arts in a way you can understand. My 2 boys and I have been taking martial arts at Asian Sun for almost 2 years. My youngest son has really come out of the shell. Before he almost never talked and now he has a lot of self confidence with the encouragement of the instructors. I highly recommend Asian Sun to everyone.

I'm so glad this is the school we decided to attend, the staff is fantastic. The staff will make sure everyone is getting trained correctly and provide instant feedback. We started off with one of our children attending and it didn't take long for my other child to want to join. I can see a huge difference in their confidence. I can't wait to see them to continue to grow in something they truly enjoy. They really enjoy Master Kurzner, he's great with children.

Highly recommend. My 5 year old son loves it here. It has helped him so much with his confidence. He is so shy and soft spoken and he is always asking at home when he gets to go back and about how much he loves it! Teachers always answer my millions of questions and are so nice and helpful and make all the kids feel welcome! Highly recommend!

Asian Sun in Wadsworth is a fabulous location for your kids to grow and learn martial arts. We loved our experience and Master Kurzner and the other instructions are phenomenal. My son learned so much during his time there and received his black belt. The instructors all were so helpful in helping him achieve his goals. I would recommend them to anyone who asked!

My family has been with Asian Sun Wadsworth for over 2 1/2 years. We currently have a Tiger Tot and our oldest is in kid's class. I will admit I had a lot of reservation about martial arts but my son's physical therapist strongly recommended we try out this specific center. After a year my little man graduated from physical therapy and hasn't looked back. The staff here are amazing at breaking everything down while understanding the children's ability and teaching to that ability. They continually push them to grow in a positive fashion. Even without my son's condition I will strongly recommend you give this center a chance. The kids learn to be respectful while having fun and making new friends.

Great instruction team with a passion for teaching! They have done wonders for my cousins who have attended since age 3 particularly one who has undergone some significant life events recently. Without Asian Sun she could not have made the progress she has! AS Wadsworth also produced an amazing 7 year old grand champion at a recent Interschool Tournament! Keep up the great work!

This studio has been wonderful for my 5 yr old son! They have improved his focus, memory, balance, reflexes, strength, discipline, and confidence. In tiger tots, it is the perfect balance of fun and silly while encouraging control and respectfulness. My kids always are begging to go to any Ninja nights that they have.

Taekwondo works perfectly alongside what his physical therapist is trying to accomplish. They know and understand his unique personality and they challenge him in just the right ways.

The staff at Asian Sun instill discipline, respect, and confidence in their students. Students learn when it’s time to be serious, and when it’s time to have fun and be silly. It is impressive how much the students learn. My child grew and gained so much. The teachers truly love what they do and are incredibly passionate.

This is a great location for young kids to learn discipline and sportsmanship. My daughter is very grateful for Master Kurzner and Mr Kirkland. They are great with the kids and work hard to teach the kids the art of Taekwondo. They have great enthusiasm and all the kids love them.

I’ve had the pleasure to be able to attend a few classes & was highly impressed with how the classes were ran! The structure of how the classes were ran & activities were so impressive!
