Louie's Pizza

Three generations of my family and just as many on my wife's side have been eating pizza here. My Dad went to school with a lot of the folks who run this place and my wife's grandparents got a massive pizza order every Friday for decades. This pizza is good feelings, great memories, and tradition for me. It's fantastic pizza as well with a completely unique crust. If you're looking for one of the absolute best pizza places in Newark, you'll be hard pressed to find something better than Louie's. I love this place and hope it never changes.

Cleanest pizza place I’ve ever seen. Pizza is delicious. The crust is somehow fluffy for a thin crust, amazing. Cheese and sauce are super tasty. Very impressed!

A family favorite for generations. My husband MUST have his Louie's when we come to Ohio. We arrived on a Sunday and had to wait until Tuesday for his Louie's fix. It was worth the wait, as always. Every glorious bite was enjoyed and savored. Until we meet again Louie's, we will have we sweet dreams of the delicious delectable slices.

Hands down top 3 Pizza places period! I love that these guys keep it simple and keep it real, cash or check only, no problem there, everyone complaining about it need to not be putting it on Google, that kills it for the owners, who are still in there working daily to keep their dream alive and keep us fed with good quality pizza! Go to another pizza place if it's that inconvenient for you to have cash to buy dinner!

We moved to Newark in 2003 and discovered Louies, it has been a staple in our house and a favorite favorite ever since.

It is a no frills family business so no modern conveniences like delivery and they don't take credit cards. Sometimes the hours will vary. You can't order online or find a coupon...but you will find one of the cleanest pizza shops in existence, and pizzas made by the same family for decades with fresh ingredients that have a very unique taste.

Louies is one of the things that defines Newark for me, it's one of a kind...and delicious.

First time having this place tonight. Really good pizza. Cash only, which they tell you before pick up. Will definitely be back.

The best pizza in Newark & Heath OH. They are second to none. Family run business since the sixty's. The pizza is always delicious and prices are very resonable.

Excellent thin crust pizza! One taste, and you can understand why they have been in business for 60+ years. They are old school... no online orders and cash only. I will definitely be back!

Best pizza in Newark! Moved here a few years ago and have been trying to find great pizza. Finally found it! Will be the only place I order from now on!

I moved away from Newark in 1966 and had an opportunity this past weekend to come back to visit. The one place i wanted to go was get a pizza from Louies. I was not dissapointed. The pizza is just as i remember and was thoroughly enjoyed. Please keep up the good work. You are all so kind. Thanks for the great work you all do !!

I never review anything. But this pizza will touch your soul. And once it does, you'll never forget about. Every time I think about pizza, Louie's comes to mind. There's probably 50 pizza places within 15 minutes of my house. This one tops them all. Is it a $5 hot-N-ready...no. It'll cost you more than that. But it's abso-freakin-lutey worth it. And when you buy from Louie's, you're supporting local business. So it's a win/win. Another added bonus, this place is probably cleaner than almost any restaurant you've ever been to. You don't have to believe me though. Just look at their other reviews. This place knows pizza & has been doing it right for over 60 years. Do yourself a favor & try it.

Louies has been my favorite since I can remember. I think it might have been the first pizza I ever tried as a kid and it’s where my family always got pizza while I was growing up. So possibly I may be biased, but we are a pizza eating family. I’m talking at least 2-3 times a week and more! I have other favorites, especially specialty pizzas, but Louies remains one of my favorites. Prbly because the same people who worked there 40 years ago are still running the place. Old school pride in their food and you can taste the difference.

My family was the 2nd ever to get a pizza by far the best you can ask for live in ga now but every and I mean EVERYTIME back home look forward to Louie's it's that good licking county has many great pizza places and Louie's is one of the very best

We just tryed a med pepperoni mushroom, it is by far some of the best pizza hands down! I was raised on Tommys,my husband on Luigis Hilliard ohio, we also love Tiberios in Lancaster, this is so wonderful, they have to be true Italians!! We will for sure go back every time we r coming at Buckeye Lake, thank u Louies Pizza!

Love this place. Sometimes I will drive all the way in from New Albany to get pizza. I’m from the area, so it’s not a big deal making the drive. My mom and dad would get pizza from here when they were dating.

Always enjoyed the robust flavor of Louie's pizza. Not big fan of thin crust however, Louie's possesses a flavor not found anywhere else. Always at treat for me and I like NY style. Thanks for the flavor...
