Monsoon Bellevue

Super trendy and cute place in old downtown Bellevue. The food was delicious and I loved all the options there are. My husband who finds Vietnamese cuisine a bit lighter was full after this as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking to explore a new place, want Asian food, or looking for a new date night place!

Came here with the family to enjoy a visit to Seattle and the surrounding area. Our server was amazing and always took care of us. The food was excellent featuring some common Vietnamese dishes, but elevated. I was also able to try some other dishes I was not familiar with, such as the catfish. Every ingredient here is fresh. Flavors are bang on. Portions are just right.

An absolutely wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. It’s a bit more upscale than your traditional Pho joints, but the food is amazing and a decent price. They had a great list of drinks and mocktails as well. Food came out quickly, and the waitstaff were very friendly.

Reservation is needed and especially for big party. We made it same day and they’re so nice to accommodate us. Service is excellent and waiter is super patient. Overalls the food didn’t make us disappointed. Crayfish pot is so delicious. We will come back again to try more on the menu.

I read good reviews about this place and had to give it a try. The food was delicious and the service was great. I love the décor of the restaurant - it had an upscale feel.

Beautiful ambience and atmosphere, great service and delicious food.

We started off with the cocktail with tequila and jalapeño.

We got the eggplant appetizer along with the Non vegetarian platter which had rolls, grilled shrimp , chicken skewers with wraps , cucumber, pineapple, vermicelli and fish sauce.

Ended with some fresh banana cake which is a must and the mango sticky rice , really good.

They parking in the meyden apartments lot pretty convenient.

Overall a really great experience if you like Vietnamese fusion and an amazing date place to be enjoyed with your partners and also friends and family!!

Authentic vietnamese food. Went here for lunch special. Good portion for lunch bowl. Taste delicious. Will come back and try for the pho.

Excess service. Our server was very friendly and efficient. The food is pretty good too. Especially like the catfish clay pot. This more fusion Vietnamese than traditional Vietnamese. So if you're looking for pho or summer rolls, you won't get it here.

Absolutely delicious, excellent and attentive service. Highly recommend the Salulita cocktail, the duck bao and the crab. Everything was perfect. Only thing they could add would be a chili oil on the side 😜

Everything was excellent. We'd been a few times in 2013/14. Hoping it was on par with those tasty visits as We'd rendezvoused w/friends from FLA. It was!!

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting too much from this restaurant at first because honestly most fusion spots over charge, the portions are too small or they add extra service charge. But this place didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent, decently priced, and the portions were good enough to make me full. Definitely would return.

Pretty good! Awesome location, in old downtown Bellevue. Good food. Lots of hype about the Drunken Chicken, but I personally found it to be just okay.

We came here for lunch. Food was delicious. The green papaya salad and lemongrass chicken were my favorite. Friendly staff and good service.

Wife and I went here for the first time last night. SO GOOD! The sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium rare and side salad was great compliment. Prawn curry was a bit spicy for me but really delicious. Even the onions were good.

I booked a 12 person lunch here and the service and staff made this a great dining experience for my team. I'm particular when it comes to large groups dining and getting appetizers and meals timed correctly , especially if reservations were made in advance.

Appetizers were ordered 15 minutes before my guest arrived. They arrived hot and fresh upon arrival when the guests were seated. Drink orders were taken and distributed accordingly. The server took our entree orders and they came out 15 minutes after appetizers were demolished. Drinks were refilled without having to ask and dishes were bussed unobtrusively.

I would highly recommend the Green Papaya Salad (flavorful and fresh), Vegetarian Rolls, Tofu Fresh Rolls, Bo Lat Lot and the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings to start.

Entrees such as the Grilled Pork Belly, Worked Lemongrass Tofu, Mushroom Pho and Drunken Chicken were popular among my team. We were also very happy they offered a large variety of vegetarian options.

This is one of those places where you can order anything from the menu and it will be good. Wokked lamb, Salt & pepper chicken wings stood out for me. Lamb was very tender and flavourful. Ambience is great, good variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drink options. Maybe portion sizes could have been larger, and it would be nice to have more dessert options. Overall a tasty place to eat.

Good wholesome Vietnamese food in a stylish and vibrant setting. Friendly and smiley staff. Had the prawn curry with brown rice, which was flavoursome and had just the right amount of spice and tang.

Amazing Vietnamese vegetarian food here in Bellevue downtown! The crispy vegetarian spring rolls were out of the world!! Ambience is great, good variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drink options. I’m a huge fan of lemongrass tofu vermicelli bowls and the one at this place didn’t disappoint!

Really enjoyed the food here! I had the standard Brisket Pho. Broth was excellent, and the meat was tender and easy to chew. We also had the string beans, which were pretty decent. We came around for a late lunch, so it was not too busy. We were served decently quickly, and our server was polite. Would definitely come back another time!

Went to Monsoon again for brunch but this time we went to the one in Bellevue instead of Seattle.

The catfish Claypot lunch set is great as always. A little more salty than the one in Seattle.

Banh Xeo is a crispy egg wrap with bean sprouts and shrimp. Too oily for me.

Drunken chicken is sooo good! It’s like a very good orange chicken haha but not too sweet.

Mango sticky rice was not good.
