Pierce Mini-Mart

We use this mini-mart daily. The staff and owner, are friendly and helpful. There's a little bit of everything on the shelves, and their hours are ideal for the area.

Very courteous and friendly.

Very rude and unprofessional with an extremely hostile attitude toward customers. I was calling around to different places looking for a scratch ticket that has less than 0.50% of the tickets remaining. This ticket has 3 of the top prizes remaining including, $200,000, $10,000 and $1,000. When I called Pierce mini mart I was explaining i was looking for that specific ticket when the teenage girl (at least her attitude reflected that of a young girl in her mid teens), Tammy, abruptly interupted me and said "you called me yesterday", confused I replied by asking "what?", to which she repeated her original statement and said to stop calling them hung up on me. This was completely uncalled for. Someone like this should not in any way, be working at a place where they interact with people and have to answer phones. I called back several times, being polite as I could considering the situation, wanting to get my answer of yes or no. I managed to get her on the line again to be told she would report me and hung up again leaving the phone line on so I got a disconnected sound when attempting again. I waited a few minutes and called again and she answered politely, then I again began trying to explain why I was calling, telling her there are very few of these tickets remaining with an unusuallu high chance of getting a big win, so I was looking/calling around trying to find them. She then said that looking for tickets is cheating and she could not hear me and my phone sucked and that im being annoying calling and she's trying to do her job. So once again I had tried politely asking her a simple yes or no question to which I had no avail. I gave up deciding I would just wait and call later today to try getting ahold of a manager to bring this extremely uncalled for behavior toward me, a polite person calling to ask a question a my 3 year old can answer. Hopefully I can get at least a no without being berated for calling. I normally wouldnt post something like this, but this is a business and should be ran by employees who at least have manners and can be courteous to customers. Ive never been treated so rudely in my life for something so completely innocent.
