Perfect secluded spot up in the Mountains. There are only 10 spots, first come first served, picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets and a water spigot. Simple spot, but that's the type of camping I enjoy. The drive up is nice with the chance of seeing big horned sheep (we didn't see any unfortunately). Take the drive up to the summit for another amazing view or use the trails to go for a hike. Theres a creek that runs along the road which offers some nice pull off spots to get out for pictures. Camp caretaker said he spotted a moose the day before in a clearing up from the campsite, but we missed out on a sighting ourselves. Overall, I loved this spot and would definitely return for some simple, in some awesome nature camping!

Great Campground! Saw some wildlife and rode some great roads on the motorcycle. It was clean and spacious! Views are beautiful!

We had a great spot in the woods-side of this campground, and it was surrounded by Aspens. Was relatively quiet and well spaced from the neighboring campsites. A great spot to bring kids, hang hammocks, have a fire in the fire ring (regardless of restrictions) and relax. The road is paved all the way out to the campground, just not in he campground loop.
Close to Georgetown (10 min), which is a nice town to visit. If you have kids, don't miss the park/playground in Georgetown. Was our kids favorite feature.

Very nice small camp ground. Quiet and nice surroundings. I came to this one after finding others were full. But then I discovered that apparently you can camp pretty much any place on Guanella Pass right off the road. But for access to water and a rest room (vault), this place fit the bill. Not too far from Georgetown or from the top of the pass. Camp ground was very clean. No electricity, but if you are looking to camp up here, you probably don't care much about that.

The campground was very nice and well kept. It was super busy, though. With only 8 spots you will be lucky to find one open. Camped Mon-Thurs and there was never a free spot for longer than 5 minutes. Good luck, if you get in, it's great.

Great campground, but you have to reserve and pay in advance. It's better to get there early so you can assure yourself a place. The camping spots are designated and you have to park your place in the designated area and put your tent too.

Small, first come first serve campground. Spaces for RVs are small so this definitely isn't a place for bigger travel trailers or 5th wheels. Grounds are clean and well kept.
