Lemongrass Thai Restaurant

I can’t believe we flew out to Alaska and found the best Thai food we’ve ever had in Fairbanks!!! We loved the food and service at Lemongrass! A local recommended it and I’m so happy we listened to her. The food was absolutely delicious. We have dined at Thai places all over NYC and NJ and Lemongrass beats all of them hands down!

As a Thai local, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this restaurant merged traditional Thai cuisine with unique Alaskan ingredients - a delightful fusion!

The atmosphere was also quite cozy yet spacious, adorned with charming decor that added to the overall experience.

We came to this restaurant a few times in our short trip to Fairbanks because it was so good!

We ordered the large Tom Yum chicken soup with Thai hot spice, which is the highest. For our Indian palate, this spice level was perfect and more importantly, the dish was bursting with flavor. We’ve had Tom Yum before, but this was nothing like we’ve had before. Absolutely YUM! The shrimp cakes paired perfectly the
Tom Yum soup and they were soft inside and just so tender and perfect.
We then ordered Drunken noodles and Thai fried rice with cashews additional, both with Thai hot spice, which again was not super spicy for our Indian palate but just perfect.

We forgot to order the rest of our dishes because we were simply lost appreciating the soup. The staff was really friendly and patient with us as we took our time to make our orders.

Highly recommend Lemon Grass if you’re looking for Thai food in Fairbanks. Would come back here again.

Best panang curry of my life. Seriously. Who knew I’d find it in Fairbanks Alaska. We’ve traveled everywhere including Thailand and this is hands down my favorite. I was told it is made to order with fresh ingredients and you can taste it. So so good! Best meal in Fairbanks.

Food was pretty good and service was so nice. Even though we came in five minutes before closing they still allowed us to place a takeout order. Additionally, someone in our group had a shellfish allergy and they were incredibly attentive and accommodating. They even added an extra order of fresh spring rolls! So great, would highly recommend.

Masaman curry, fried rice and tom kha soup they were all good.

Loved the yellow curry with spice level hot. The chicken skewers were also amazing.
The Thai iced tea was a little sweet but good.
The top ratings for this restaurant is justified. I'll love to eat here if I visit Alaska again.

I spent 10 months in Thailand. I think this is very authentic Thai food. The food was great as was the service. The restaurant decor also reminds me of Thailand. I highly recommend the Lemongrass Thai restaurant.

We were there in 2019 . It was highly recommended for us to experience. Loved it then! This time we brought our girls with us and was very excited to see how they may like it. They loved it! I had their special a pumpkin red curry, while they girls had Pad Thai. The philosophy of supporting local farmers and to cook seasonal food products is outstanding! They wait staff even suggested to try the pumpkin fries. OMG!! What a wonderful idea! Do try it!

Loved their menu and service. One of the tastiest foods I had in Fairbanks. Their panang curry is a must try.

Always a favorite go to for a nice sit down Thai restaurant. For some reason today is the first time we has tried that calamari, and I will say we were not disappointed. The calamari is best in town that I have had. Other good points are the delicious pineapple curry and the variety of salads they had.They also are the only place I have been able to find that have sticky mango rice. 10/10 this is a favorite place to eat at.

Excellent Thai food in a local spot with great service. Smaller portions but it was all very flavorful. It was close to our hotel and it was easy to get a taxi to and from. Recommend if you’re looking for a cozy Thai spot.

Atosphere was very pleasant. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
The spring rolls were different. I've never had them cut up with the sauce poured on top. They were tasty all the same. The tamarind sauce was sweet and savory.
The curry looked so good that I started eating it before I remembered to take a picture. And it tasted even more delicious! It was creamy and had a nice balance of flavors and spices.
Definitely the best Thai restaurant I have been to in Fairbanks!

Delicious Thai food! This place was recommended to me as one of many Thai restaurants in town. Apparently Thai food has quite a following in Fairbanks, Alaska, who would have guessed. My friend had peanut chicken which was delicious and I had the Pad Thai which was very good as well.

This place is fantastic. It's truthfully authentic cuisine full of flavour. The selection of dishes is amazing. The service is great. We will be here again. This place is highly recommended!

We came and celebrated our friend's birthday here tonight. Very impressed how they were able to handle a big party. Food was great! I got pineapple curry and thai green tea iced!!! Good ambience!!! I highly recommend this place!!! Also the price is very reasonable!

Delicious! Of the best food we had in Alaska! Who knew Fairbanks loves Thai food?

This place was packed, so you might wait a minute, but they got us in pretty quickly despite the crowd. Our server was so friendly and cute. We got the "Thai Tacos" on her recommendation and they were so delicious! I recommend those. I also got the yellow curry on recommendation from Lisbet over at Arctic Dog Adventure, and MAN it was great!

I highly recommend eating here, it was easily the best food we had in Alaska.
