The view, the location, and the room were all perfect. The micro kitchen and free laundry mean that you could comfortably stay here for several days or more. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

It dumped snow while we were visiting, and the guy who was plowing the parking lot (who I assume was an employee or contractor) was very helpful and friendly.

The only negative I’ll give is the WiFi was pretty slow most of the time.

What a great little place!! The room was very clean (I'm extremely picky!!), and daily maid service was provided. The little kitchen was well stocked. We were able to cook multiple meals without difficulty. The only thing I could think that would be beneficial to include, other than what is there, is a pair of scissors. The bed was very comfortable, my back didn't hurt all week. The view was amazing, obviously. The only con, which wasn't that big of a deal to us, is that the blinds next to the door did not cover the window 100%, so there was a little bit of a privacy issue at night, mainly. I would absolutely stay at the Elk Refuge Inn again!!

The front desk lady, Brenda, was very welcoming, and I loved her attitude and willingness to help with information about what to do in the area. The inn offers affordable prices per night, and the rooms themselves are very comfortable with great views. The location is excellent, as Grand Teton National Park is only about 25 minutes away. Although we didn't see the elks because they were further down in the field, I really enjoyed my time here and will recommend it to others. However, if you're a light sleeper, be aware that the inn is next to the highway leading to the park, so it can be noisy. They provide earplugs, but if this bothers you, you might want to find a different place to stay. On a positive note, I loved the night sky; I recommend everyone to drive around and find a dark place, bring a tripod, and use your nighttime mode with a 30-second exposure to capture more stars.

Excellent stay. Check in was pretty easy. The rooms were big and clean. Ours had a king bed and a small picnic table. There was also a small kitchen with basic utensils. Location was very convenient as it’s a few miles away from the National park and few miles from the city. There was no breakfast but hot coffee in the morning. We had to leave quite early to catch the sunrise at the Tetons so cannot comment on the views. But the inn is right opposite the National Elk refuge. So if you are luck you should see some elks.

I love this inn, especially since the remodel. Very comfy rooms with great access to the Grand Tetons such that you should never miss a Tetons sunrise (spectacular when lit by the sun), early morning animals, Tetons sunrise on the highway to Cody, or the always spectacular beauty of the two national parks. Nearby is the elk refuge for sunset views of the elk. Skip Jackson, which is now an overly congested, mind-numbing town with way too much traffic and people. Used to be a veritable heaven, but no more.

What a fantastic Inn! We absolutely loved our stay! It was a great location only a few minute drive into town, about 15 or so minutes until The Grand Tetons and right across from the elk refuge. We had binoculars and could see so many elk just from our patio. The rooms are quite large. The kitchenette was perfect. Everything was so clean. The bed was comfy. Heater worked great. I can not recommend this Inn enough when visiting Jackson/the national parks.

Wonderful, small, and private inn just outside of the downtown area. The rates here are much more reasonable than the rates for lodging in town. The rooms are very comfortable as well. I also really appreciate the complimentary laundry they provide- most places require quarters. There’s a little noise from the parkway but it settles down at night. I’ve stayed here by myself for work and with my partner for vacation.

Excellent stay! Our room had a kitchenette with range and full-sized refrigerator plus a dining table. Was able to easily prepare a holiday meal for four adults and we sat around visiting afterwards and watched elk out the window- excellent weekend getaway and the people were extremely friendly and competent. American 🇺🇸
family owned.

We thoroughly enjoyed the one night we spent at the Elk Refuge Inn! We appreciated that it’s located outside of the hustle and bustle of Jackson, but town is still easily accessible. We were made to feel very welcome, and were given friendly advice regarding where to eat. Our room was large, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We will certainly stay there again next time we’re in the area!

Stayed here a few weeks ago after having to leave early from another (non affiliated of course) hotel within Jackson because it was so awful. Elk Refuge was a lifesaver!! I wish I had stayed here the whole time. Big comfy rooms, great amenities and view. I didn’t get the lady’s name at the front desk but she was so kind and helpful! I won’t be staying anywhere but here for any future trips. Can’t thank you all enough!! Keep it up!

Loved it was a little out of town, and the room had a balcony. Wasn't great at answering the phone, but it was awesome at texting, which I thought was even better. I will return. May not be a 5-star hotel for some, but right up my alley.

Great place, everything you need. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The cleaning lady even did our dishes, not sure if this is normal or not ? Anyways I highly recommend this place for an affordable room in Jackson. The staff was also super nice.

This place came recommended by a family member and he was not wrong about the place.
We were visiting the Teton park so this place is close to the park as well as Jackson.
It's nicely placed just outside of town on the north side and right across the street from the elk refuge center. The views are fantastic as you sit on your own patio.
Our room was clean and well stocked with kitchenette things. Even had a great little snack pack setup. They were very attentive and exceeded my expectations in every way. The free use of the laundry facilities was a nice touch. I didn't get a chance to sit out at the fire pit area, but I'm sure it also is a relaxing way to finish your day.

5 stars for the price and location. I prefer being just a little outside of town. Room is ok for the price. My only complaint is the hot water could be 2 degrees warmer for showers.

We stayed here 4 nights and it was awesome. Room was great and housekeeping was provided each night. Aimee at the desk running the show was very helpful, professional and had good knowledge of the area. There is free laundry and snacks. If you want to be close to Jackson and park activities but unwind away from the crowds then you need to stay here. Thanks folks for making our stay top notch.

Really wonderful staff and very clean, comfortable rooms. Looks recently renovated or new. Loved staying here. It’s like a 2 minute drive from the town and much better prices than anything I found there. Can’t recommend it enough.

Great location. If you have issues with the traffic noise (which is very audible) they provide ear plugs or you should bring your own. I did not have issues/it did not disturb me. The staff keeps the rooms very clean. We had a shower clogged when we arrived and Sergio (repairman) fixed it promptly. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay in Jackson. Just outside the main town so that the noise level is low but close enough to pop into town for a bite to eat. Room was very comfortable and clean which is top priority. We had to wait about 20 minutes for them to finish cleaning the room when we got there but they gave us a free bag with some waters and magazines to read. Complimentary snacks in the room was a nice touch for those late night munchies. Will definitely use again if ever in the area.

A combination of motel and airbnb, minus breakfast. The rooms were functional, practical, clean, with a beautiful view, the details were thoughtful, though the road traffic was a little too noisy throughout the night.
