Mountain Modern

For the price this place is amazing. The rooms were fairly spacious, well appointed, and the hotel is conveniently located walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. It didn’t feel like a motel to us. I read some complaints of noise, but we didn’t have any issues. However, i do want to mention that if you happen to have a noisy neighbor, I’m sure you will be able to hear them. The walls aren’t soundproofed very well. The motel has a shuttle that takes three trips in the morning and three trips in the evening to bring you to and from Teton Village. I definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic experience over New Years in both the double queen room and the larger apartment. The rooms are really nice, well equipped and nicely decorated. We were on the bottom floor and it was pretty noisy so next time we will request a room upstairs. The apartment was FANTASTIC!! We had 6 adults staying in it comfortably. It was equipped with everything needed to cook and hang out. There are both outdoor and indoor pools and spas that are very nice and clean, great fire pits that were always on and a place to hang out and buy coffee. The location can’t be beat as it is in the center of town and there is a shuttle to the mountain. The only thing that could make it better is a free breakfast in the morning. Other than that it was an excellent stay and we will be back.

Mountain Modern is the perfect location in Jackson with absolutely fantastic accommodations! More so, I would love to leave a HUGE RAVE for Spencer! In an effort to raise money for my friends 2 year old little girl, battle kidney cancer, Spencer and Mountain Modern were able to help us raise OVER $24,000 ! This wouldn't have been possible without their help, so please rest assured knowing not only is this hotel fantastic, but amazing people with hearts of gold are running the show here! 🧡 this little girl will be able to receive her chemo treatments out of state thanks to Spencer and Mountain Modern! We loved our stay at mountain modern!! Truly so in awe of the hotel. We booked a studio with a kitchen, and it helped save us so much money for our stay in Jackson. The staff was so friendly, and housekeeping truly went above and beyond with making sure our place was well stocked and clean. Cant recommend it enough!

Great location and amenities! The room has everything you need and a very comfortable bed. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Also has an outdoor heated pool and fire pit which was fun to use at night in the cold weather.

Rooms are tastefully decorated. I loved the farmhouse sink, particularly when all 4 of us were brushing teeth etc etc in the mornings and nights. Free coffee & tea in the mornings is a nice start. Really enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Everything was clean.

Feedback for the hotel: the floor of the shower was really slippery! I’d worry about older folks falling in there.

Great room and walkable location to the main shops. Some reviews I read before booking mentioned noise levels. I did NOT encounter any noise problems. The rooms were spacious and updated. Parking was convenient and free.

The studio room was big and lovely. The only thing missing was a full length mirror. The staff were very helpful. Izelle and Mo did a great job assisting me with finding the perfect room.

Cozy but comfortable rooms. I would recommend upgrading to a suite if you have the wherewithal because you get so much more space; this is probably important if you’re here during the winter season with all the ski/snowboard equipment. The suite is also nice because it has a kitchen and a pullout bed with 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space for 4 people if you want to save some money!
Next time we’re in Jackson, I’ll be back at mountain modern.

We loved staying at the Mountain Modern Motel, it's just too bad that we couldn't stay for more than one night! Our kids loved that there were both indoor and outdoor pool areas and took advantage of both. I especially loved that the outdoor pool was heated, which meant a 9am swim for the kids was whine-free. The room was spacious, but I'm not a huge fan of memory foam mattresses. It was a super short walk from our room to a bunch of breakfast places and dinner restaurants, as well as the shops of the town square. My family would love to stay at the Mountain Modern again.

I had a last-minute business trip leave me looking for a hotel in Jackson with only a 24-hour notice. I was worried that I wouldn't find any vacancies, but there were a few throughout town. I was astonished to find there were a few rooms across town priced around $250 per night, and the rest were $650+ a night.
Mountain Moderns prices were in the $250 catagory, so I used Mountain Moderns online booking through their own website and was delighted at how simple, clean and user-friendly that process was. They even had an online booking discount for no other reason than for coming to their website. The reviews sounded great, and the website made it look very nice. And it was every bit as delightful and updated as advertised. The bed and furniture were new, comfortable, and had a refreshingly modern touch. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rate was absolutely worth the room. I will be staying here for all my upcoming trips to Jackson.

Rooms are large and updated. HUGE sink by the bathroom, and very comfortable beds. Multiple heated pools and a hot tub, and the cafe for morning coffee is very nice. Location can’t be beat, it’s a short walk to anywhere in downtown Jackson. Highly recommend, especially for the price!

Great proximity to everything in Jackson downtown (walkable to pretty much anywhere). Close to grand Teton and elk refuge. Great amenities for a motel (hot tub, pool, three restaurants, cafe and lounge area). They have bear spray they let you borrow so you don't have to buy. One block away from dollar tree and tj max for those that forget to pack small last minute items!

No complaints at all. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The two queens/two bunks layout was awesome for our family.

The location is great! We walked everywhere - stores, breakfast, dinner, parks - they were all just two or three blocks away.

Staff was friendly and helpful in recommending nearby restaurants.

Our room was incredible. It was clean, felt cozy, and was actually beautiful. The hike/outdoors decor was the icing on the cake. I'd definitely stay at Mountain Modern again!

On our out West two week road trip we stayed in 10 different hotels. This was our one night stop for Jackson Hole area.
We loved this area and wished we could've stayed longer.
I usually avoid motels but this was redone and great! The hotel was in a great location to walk to so many things. Our 16 and 11 yr old loved our lofted-beds room (although the thin ladder planks did hurt their feet). It had a great kitchen set up and so much storage. Definitely recommend.

Wish we could have stayed more than the one night. Of our three hotels on this trip, was absolutely the best one. Will definitely be back in the future. Clean Rooms, Fun atmosphere and just two blocks form city center. Our daughter loved the bunk bed style!

This place is great! It's close to everything, rooms have all you need, it's clean and comfortable. It's also super affordable. Totally recommend.

Highly recommend this place. The property is well kept and super clean. They have plenty of outdoor spaces. Beds were super comfortable, location was perfect, parking never an issue and fast wifi. We booked the double queen and were very please with a microwave, large fridge and huge sink for washing dishes. Staff was great as well. Don't be put off by their low prices thinking you will get a lower quality.. This company just knows what they are doing!
