Grand Prairie Park

Great neighborhood park, with Periwinkle Creek running through it. Basketball court (night lighting available) and covered area for picnics, with grills for BBQs and a lot of ducks. A good place to take a walk, or take the dog out to for some fun.

Restrooms were closed and there is outhouses available there's a large parking lot and many picnic tables spread throughout the park we fed the ducks/geese while walking the trail..clean quiet area to relax while surrounded by play areas for the children and dog friendly areas also.

The Ducks are cute. There is a well groomed walking park and a little stream.

Nice big park. It's good for walking and biking. There's also big fields, a basketball court, and a play ground. :)

Great to bring young kids. It has a pond. But DO Not FEED THE DUCKS or ALLOW DOGS IN THE WATER. IT WILL TRY TO EAT THE DUCKS. Their are also geese and a playground to and if you walk over to this fence you can see a pot bellied pig named tidies.

Great place for fresh air good walk and playground for kids. Cute lite river with ducks here too

Wonderful place to walk my dog. Addy loves going here. Also a spacious park I have taught yoga at! Great place for family gatherings too.

I love this park. It has always been clean and in order. Kids groups meet here and there are pavilions with lights, benches, and electric plugs for use. Also I'm assuming with some sort of payment water and other perks are available.

Favorite park in Albany! perfect for magnet fishing, duck feeding, picnicking, playgrounds, frisbee, soccer, catch, basketball court, pavilion, big open spaces with beautiful scenery.. Traffic can get loud sometimes but the park itself is fantastic and well kept.

The ducks were extremely fun and interesting to see and play with them. We gave them the proper food! They REALLY liked us!! We will watch our videos and pictures MANY times!

Daughter loves feeding the ducks. Last time we went and fed the ducks, it cost me 15 bucks and we got a 20 pound bag of duck food. They ate all of it in like 5 minutes. It doesnt matter how much food you bring they'll devour it in seconds.

Well ive always loved going there to feed the ducks gosh theres so many there. My husband has taken me there at least once a wk or once every 2wks so we can feed them we buy different grains they can eat in bulk bins from winco an we fill up 2 of the gallon zip lock bags 1 each to feed them they come right up to you theres some thatll each straight outta your hand its so amazing just sitting on the bench watching them run up to you from across the creek or from down the creek they even start coming to you when you get outta your car an hit the grass or walking path they just assume you have food for them theyve got cement pick nick benches to eat on theres a couple tall metal grills to bbq on we like making lunch an taking it to eat there before we feed the ducks they have public restrooms a basketball court really nice 1 theres a huge covered area for having bdays or any type of large gathering with picnic tables under it theres a kids play area with swings etc to play on a walking path theres a small wooden deck that hangs over the water my husband proposed to me there so this place is much more special to us theres a very small wooden bridge to walk across the water to the other side of the park and its a pretty large park great for family or just kicking back on a blanket under the trees take a nap read a book or just relax an look at clouds an sky very very nice place id recommend it to anyone

Nice park, like going there with the kids to see & feed the ducks. Small kiddie playground at other end, probably would be a great place for birthday parties because of the picnic area and gazebo. Not a bad park for spending time with family for a few hours.

Relaxing. Very pretty flowers, trees and lots of ducks. I think it's a great place for pictures.

I love this park. To sit and eat. To walk my dogs. I live so close I am here often. I love the water view and all the ducks and geese. Playground for kids. Ball court. Picnic tables and BBQs. Pretty sure you need to rent it out. But it's never busy.
