This store has the best bakery around! Although we enjoy many items they offer, our highest rating goes to the cakes! They are so moist and delicious, and the decorations are the best around! Top quality products, and friendly, helpful service. That's what you get at Albany Safeway!

UPDATE:had a missed delivery order due to high order volume and callouts but the employees knocked it out and the gm helped. It wasnt the why the issue is there but the how they handled it that impressed me. And their Starbucks is awesome.

I mostly use the self checkout. But the employees I have interacted with have been very pleasant and helpful. I usually go early in the morning so I'm always finding crisp, fresh vegetables every time I go The store is always very clean and their bakery gives us delicious stuff.

Very crowded on the night before Thanksgiving but everyone was polite and the check out moved fast enough despite long lines. We love the service at the deli here, always great, and the bakery selection is always great too, thank you Safeway!

Nice selection of vegan cheeses and vegan meat substitutes. Even gluten free vegan! Nice avocados at a great price. Coffee shop has good selection of plant based milks.
Really great to find such selection this far outside of Portland. My experience in neighboring towns has been disappointing.
Oh! And whole reason was there was for vaccine. Pharmacy delivers better than most in the state. Very professional pharmaceutical staff.

Really great coupons Most others rely on low prices all the time but the deals here are better for the most part. The only complaint is the selection isn't as big as some of the larger stores in the area. It has really good selection irregardless, they have items I couldn't find when I tried another bigger store that only got sold at "select stores".

This store is brightly lit and well maintained. We usually go to Costco for a lot of reasons but for small and unique grocery purchases we end up at Safeway. The checkers at this location are almost always pleasant and attentive, both things that aren't always guaranteed these days.

I tried to use the app. To difficult to get in to to safe a buck. Wasn't buying much. Parking had to few handicap spaces.
