Wonderful sweet little Park with lots of beautiful flowers and large Open Fields. Shady spots over picnic tables, tire swings, swings, a variety of slides for all ages, lots of climbing opportunities, a seesaw, and permanent porta potty.

Beautiful park for kids. Its a good size for it to be in a neighborhood area too. Drinking fountain, bathroom and tables with canopy available.

Beautiful park, lots of kiddos playing & being kids. :) If it’s sunny out bring an umbrella not too many shady spots to help stay cool, would make an an awesome location for a splash pad for the kids :)

My sister loves this park. She always wants to come visit her friends here when they go. It’s a good park, with a tire swing, a basketball court, and two nice sized play structures! And for everyone who likes playing chess or checkers, most tables have a board on it so you can bring your own pieces and play! I recommend this park highly if you live near this area or just came to visit Albany with kids. (or any age group!)

This is a great park with lots of stuff for the kids to play on. Two different structures for the big and little kids to play. Great neighborhood and very friendly people. Happily take my little one there anytime to play.

This chain is a state favorite. Most of the Dutch Bros locations are drive up coffee stands but they usually have a walk up window. If you want to know more about the company there is an episode of Undercover Boss that is surprisingly informative about all aspects of the company including how they source their coffee beans and they have their own website.

Dutch Bros offers a surprising variety of drinks both espresso based drinks and beyond espresso/coffee based drinks. You can even customize your drinks, if you wish. There are memes about the friendliness of the staff. They have a variety of non-dairy options. They have a large variety of drink syrups. They have sugar free options for different types of drinks. The chain is conscience of how the coffee is sourced and the headquarters are in Oregon. They do have a punch card. They do give a $0.25 discount if you bring your own drink container with a wider mouth opening, a Hydroflask or something similar. If you do not bring your own drink container the cup lids have cute little phrases on them. You can pay with cash or card. Also, they are community oriented and will occasionally participate in a fundraiser beyond the yearly one that is done company wide.

This is long but good to know about how you pay. The stands have customized tablets with card readers. If you do pay with a card they will hand you the tablet after they swipe your card, it will offer you the option to pick from different tip amounts (so you can avoid doing the math in your head), or you can choose your own tip amount or no tip at all. Then you finger sign for the charges. The reason this is a pro is because you can personally look over the charges being made to your card before they go through. There is an extra bonus to the tablets at the Dutch Bros in our town. They keep a larger staff at known busy times and when the lines are long, one of the servers walk through the line of cars, with tablet in hand, taking orders and payments to minimize wait times. (Do be aware that the payment system extra service does not happen at every Dutch Bros outside of Albany).

Mixed: They staff mostly college students. On one hand they are old enough to take the job seriously and young enough for the high energy needed for the job. If you are a college student looking for work, because of their popularity, you will get great tips. The other side of the hiring is that there is a decent amount of turnover as many are college students who will move on so there are almost always servers who are learning the ropes. The hiring also means is that this is not a place for high school students or older adults to apply.

Cons: This is not for the coffee connoisseur or if you grew up drinking coffee in Europe. Also, if you love Starbucks you will not love this coffee. Once in awhile, when there are new hires, the flavoring of the sugar free drinks becomes inconsistent. As much as I appreciate Dutch Bros, if you want a sugar free soda the Spirit Espresso stand has a wider selection of flavors. Also, unless you live here there are times where the wait will be long as the line if cars can extend into the streets.

Pretty well kept, nice play structures, and a big open field to fly drones or run around in. Make sure and ware boots in the winter if you plan to go in the field. It's very soggy.
