Pilos Mexican Bakery

I got a tres leches cake with custard filling and cut fruit for a small party. The medium was good for 40 people. $65. The cake is soaked in sweet milk and is brilliant. The fruit decoration is impressive and lets you pretend you are being healthy. I definitely recommend the cake from Pilos.

What is not to love about this bakery? The bread, the sweets, the candies, the chips! It's like walking into a little convenience store because it is so convenient that they are theobe of the only ones in town with great options! When I'm at work in the morning I can smell them baking pastries fresh often! Lovely place and lovely people keeping the doors open for everyone ❤

Small store but it had the Mexican candies i wanted and the personnel is super friendly! I came in looking for candy but i had to grab delicious bread 🖤 I'm so glad i found this hole in the wall! Not the last time i come back! (Bring cash!!!) No card service!!

Ordered pastel milhojas and OMG sooo good!! Fantastic and my husband loved it. We can't wait to try it with the caramel and also the tres leches. Thank you for making his birthday wonderful.

The freshest pan dulce in town! You can smell the goodness walking by. Not greasy simply delicious. And priced just right. Their bolillos are perfect just make sure you get there early because they run out fast and also to get the widest selection of pan dulce to choose from. Their tres leches cake with strawberries is soo good, soak in sweet cream and milk but not too wet that it falls apart. A medium was plenty for our small gathering (8 people) with enough to send home with them. They also carry traditional Mexican cheeses along with candies, snacks, seasonings. Small but full of choices.
I can't forget about the wonderful owners who know everyone's name and greets them with a big smile.

I live in WASHINGTON, and visit my sister in Oregon. We accidentally found Pilos in Corvallis. I have only been there two times, but everything I have purchased is excellent. My sister feels the same way.

!!!CASH ONLY!!! Had zero cash on hand my first time at the bakery. And if it wasnt for the owners generosity, offering to allow me to pay him back next time for a couple pastries, then it wouldve been torture leaving empty handed, teased by the aroma that, alone, is worthy of 5 stars

The place is very tidy and always kept clean, with a variety of Mexican bread, snacks, and treats which my wife and son both love. The owners are always very pleasant and talkative, and you can tell that they really care. They aren't just a business, but a staple in the Corvallis community, always willing to help and support when they can. Really great experience, each and every time!

Come for the Mexican pastries. Pilo and his wife are so amazing.

If you've never been before, you grab a plastic tray and tongs, then pull the pastries out of the case with the tongs. Take the tray to the register and they will ring you up. Most are less than a dollar a piece. All very tasty.

Cash only, so keep that in mind as well!

The best place for traditional Mexican breads and pastry. A great selection baked fresh daily. They make to order occassion cakes that are incredible, very popular with the locals.
Pilo and his wife are always happy to greet you and answer any questions you have. I grab a bag to toss in 3-6 pastries, always under $5. There is the perfect cake slices to make delicious strawberry shortcake.

The pan dulce are very good, very yummy, and the customer service is so friendly. Go- you will love it!

Their MIL HOJAS (thousand sheets) cake is delish! Order the small one just to try, it's crispy, not so sweet and lots of nice decorative fruit on top. YUM!

Everything is so freshly baked and theres nothing like the smell of a fresh batch of cookies right out of the oven. Perfect chocolate chip cookies, just the right amount of chips morsels

An amazing smell of bakery items upon entering the store and the staff were very helpful and nice. I tried a pineapple filling pastry and it was very delicious as well as cheap (only $0.75!). I will be returning for more!

Amazing customer service and plenty to look at from cool drinks to food staples and snacks to incredible baked goods made in house. Do yourself a favor and get some excellent conchas for super cheap. We got a concha, churro, empanada, two drinks, and chips for less than six bucks. Full picnic for less than I spend for fast food. Can't wait to go back for seconds!

They have delicious affordable sweets, especially their Tres Leches cake. To top it off, they've got a wonderful & caring customer service.

Went into Pilos on a whim because it smelled good. My mother and I are happy to report that the conchas are delightful, the service was wonderful, and we will be back next time we visit Corvallis!

Entirely too good, this place. Excellent baked goods. Impossibly cheap. And a nice market attached - stop by!
