Rite Aid

People are way too critical of this place. The pharmacy was very understaffed for a very long time (and still is honestly) but the people that are working there now do an amazing job. There may be a bit of a wait when calling or going in to get your perscription but that ties back in with the limited number of people working there. All in all this place has had the best customer service I've seen in awhile from a pharmacy.

I'm really surprised that the average rating for this store is so low. I am always greeted by super friendly cashiers when I walk in the door and have had great experiences with the Pharmacy. I have tried multiple Walgreens and both of the Rite Aids in Corvallis and on the coast are WAY better in every single category. I have waited a few times in a fairly long line at the pharmacy, but they have always surprised me by how efficient they are despite being very busy. Always happy with my experience when I leave this store!

As someone who really appreciates this pharmacy and the employees working here, I'm sorry to see the poor reviews. I've had nothing but a good experience here, with friendly and competent employees.

If you can't get your prescription when you wanted, 90% of the time, not the fault of the pharmacist. Try calling ahead next time to make sure they have or will have your meds in stock, especially if there is a national shortage.

If you are so indignant about waiting to receive your prescription when you want it without having to wait a long time, then don't show up at the busiest time of the day to get them.

These kind people are always running and working as fast as they can everytime I come in to pick up my prescription. Sometimes I can't get it the same day due to things beyond their control. But what I don't do is raise my voice and threaten employees because my pills aren't ready when I demand them.

Keep in mind these people behind the counter are human and doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Show a little more kindness and respect to the people who do this job so you can get your medication.

Great employees courteous friendly. Eager to please,and help me. Even my 6 yr old granddaughter likes it here. It is clean and pretty here for a pharmacy. Keep up the great job.

Excellent customer service! They had exactly what I needed, the staff helped me locate the items then suggested similar (vegan) items that I didn’t know about. Wonderful experience! Highly recommend this store for their customer service.

As a cashier at this rite aid it pains me to see the latest reviews. Our pharmacy has recently had many people transfer to other locations leaving them very understaffed. There really isn't anything they can do until we get new hires, we have even had some of our cashier's work overtime to help. As far as prescriptions being out of stock, the trucks that deliver our prescriptions have not been delivering as mush or as often due to COVID-19. Please I beg of you be patient with them and remember we are all human too and can only do so much. Thank you

Very helpful, patient, and friendly customer service.
The manager is often present on the floor and has helped me find items several times.
A very nice gentleman(assistant manager?) was so kind to get all the planters in the color I wanted down from a top shelf.
I am always impressed with the service, cleanliness, and organization of this store each time I visit.
Also the Pharmacy Drive up is an awesome touch!

I use to work at this pharmacy. I just want to let everyone know that this pharmacy does 400-600 prescription daily from 7am to 11pm this pharmacy is always busy! You need to cut them some slack. They are constantly restocking the shelves with medication and the phones are none stop ringing! They have customers coming from all directions. It's a high stress job. Technicians have to type in new prescriptions and then the most tedious part is dealing with customer's health insurance. It's an exhausting job. They would appreciate some patience. Thank you.

The pharmacists were working so hard today, despite being stretched thin with little staff and so many customers, they were kind, considerate, and professional. They made sure to have the prescriptions we needed filled on the spot and we are so grateful to have amazing professionals that can stay kind even with so much added stress. Thank you.

I had a a fantastic costumer service experience experience at my local Rite aid! One cashier, John I think, provided a great friendly conversation as I checked out my anti-diarrheal. He was really cute and didn’t comment on my medications. Well done!

This is a really nice store with friendly staff and a surprising array of supplies.

Maria at the pharmacy saw my grievance and work with my doctor and myself to get the prescription filled. She had to make several phone calls but she was a real advocate and a paragon of customer service. Thank you so much! I was going to take my business elsewhere but she made a customer for life! Five Star Service.

I went into store #05366 to fulfill a prescription today. The prescription is from out of state, so someone(pharmacist?) called the Doctor's office that I got the prescription from to verify that it was a legitimate one. That due diligence; however, the rest of the story goes down hill from here. The pharmacist called me around 2pm on 12/5/18. In her words, she told me that she couldn't fulfill the prescription because she could not verify with my doctor's office that they had issued the prescription. I thought that was weird so I called up my Dr's office, and they said they received a call from the Riteaid asking for my name and birthday. They refused to give that information because to do so would violate HIPAA.
I called the riteaid back thinking they might have my date of birth wrong, however they verified that I am in their system under the correct DOB. They even confirmed that they asked for my identifying info.

It seems absurd to be that the pharmacy would demand my patient information from my Dr.'s office instead of offering up the information in their EHR.
The people at the pharmacy said they needed to confirm my DOB. They could have done that with my dr's office by giving them the DOB! giving identifying information is a valid use of HIPAA, however demanding it is NOT! (My doctor is going to send the prescription electronically) Hopefully it's not messed up some more.

Because of this logistical nightmare, and because I don't believe this company values my patient privacy I will no longer be using this store for prescriptions or for another reason.

There is this worker named Omar and he is a god tier cashier. With him and his supporting cast they have been able to create a perfect and professional work environment while having fun and getting the job done. I applaud Omar’s effort for being just an angel and really making sure that I was comfortable in the store. God bless his heart.

What most of these other negative reviewers seems to realize, is that this "drive thru" isn't shoveling out pre-cooked burgers every 30 seconds. I know & understand that this is medication and they do have VERY strict rules to adhere to, whether it's in the store or at the Drive through. Sometimes requires counsel of a pharmacist, sometimes there might be insurance issues, but also such procedures are needed more than ever in this sue to get rich quick society. They do an outstanding job!

Came here to pick up my amazon package the clerk was so sweet I wish I got her name she was working yesterday around 5pm. I had to open my package just then cause I was so excited I feel like she was excited for me im very impressed and I will definitely come here again. I will buy something next time.

Employees are great! They questioned a customer about buy a high dollar gift card. Asked if they were buying it because someone emailed them a task to go buy it. Turned out to be true and it was a scam. Awesome work Rite Aid staff!

I've been served well by this pharmacy. I generally reach someone quickly by phone and my questions are satisfactorily answered. Today the person I spoke with saved me a lot of time and some money by helping me find a good coupon offer. Thank you!
