Samaritan Geary Street Pharmacy

In my opinion this is the BEST pharmacy you can find in Albany! They have the best customer service and are always willing to answer all your questions. They ALWAYS go above and beyond with their services! They are super friendly and welcome you with a smile every time which will make your day! I've been a loyal customer for years now and have NEVER had any issues and refuse to go to any other pharmacy. They'll ALWAYS try to give you a great price on your prescriptions. Their brands are just as good as the originals with GREAT prices as well! Don't forget about the discount program that's available too.

We had a miscommunication on a prescription refill and another pharmacy pretty much told us to bad… We came here a little defeated but they and they helped us figure out the issue and got it refilled for us and was also super friendly.

I was getting my Rx’s filled at a big box store pharmacy here when I moved from Washington. I had to go to a walk in clinic to get some Rx’s filled and went to Geary St. Clinic as it was the closest to my house. I then went to Geary St. Clinic Pharmacy to get them filled as it is in the same building. Their service was so good that I had all my Rx’s transferred there. The entire staff have all went above and beyond to serve me and everyone that does business there! Top notch service!

I came in looking for a simple prescription between doctor's visits. They were able to write me the prescription I needed AND fill it within the hour. They even provided a consultation and wrote my prescription for another year, eliminating my need to see the doctor entirely. The staff went above and beyond to help me and stayed past closing time to finish my prescription. I had a great experience here; they are now my first choice pharmacy.

I needed information on an irregular copay price, Vanessa helped. Later I called back unable to have my original RX refilled before the 5th of January by Walgreens (because Geary Pharmacy was not open when I needed the original RX filled). Vanessa helped again quickly and understandably as a 10 day supply versus a 30 day (billing confusion). I have had great service previously at this pharmacy and this customer service effort was so appreciated to avoid another bout of pink eye or another visit and associated copay when I had a refill for the remainder of the 10 day supply already. Thank you so much for helping me!

You couldn’t ask for better customer service at a pharmacy. Vanessa, Tina, Cindy and Mark are an amazing team; they always greet me and my boys by name when we come in and go above and beyond and advocate for me and my RX needs.

I’m so grateful for the fast, excellent service I received tonight at this pharmacy when I needed them after being seen at urgent care. Huge kudos to the pharmacists and techs there—you folks are a blessing!
