Samaritan Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic - Geary Street

Might be the nicest urgent care I've ever been to. Receptionist and nurses were all friendly and smiling. The doctor did not come in with a big head and start blaming ALL of my health problems on unrelated things. He listened to my concerns, seemed genuinely concerned with my well-being, took the time to actually inspect my body, and came to a solid diagnosis.

Might be the best doctor I've ever met. I've been through a lot. If he was faking his concern, he should win an Oscar.

I waited only about 5 min, the staff were all super friendly and kind, and Sara Bybee was delightful to chat with while she stitched me up! Best urgent care visit ever!

I just moved here from Texas and was needing to get a check-up so I decided to go to the urgent care. I highly recommend going Ms. Norah and Ms. Shellie, the receptionists who were both working there were really sweet and processed me very fast! I had gotten the phone number to leave the review but unfortunately I mis wrote so wasn’t able to leave a call. But definitely much love them both for taking care of me and making my experience as speedy as possible🤍🤍🤍

Professional and friendly staff. Informed of wait time. Nurses and Doctor explained all steps involved in my treatment. Pros and Cons discussed. All my questions answered

I couldn't have been happier with our treatment. From the kind receptionist to the Dr and the the nurse and x-ray tech, all were so nice to my daughter and I. No one wants to go into a clinic on a Sunday and have a pained 2 year old to deal with but all the people there made our visit as quick and easy as possible. I was so relieved to find out nothing was majorly wrong with my baby girl but also walked away feeling like the staff genuinely cared about my daughter as a person.

They took great care of my folks who have a bad bad cold. They treated my family with respect and helped them with this bad colds they had. Great great bedside manner, everyone here was so caring and helpful!! These other ratings that are Negative, don't DONT judge this place by their (walk-in) bad attitude. Go for yourself and see..

I saw the neg posts and decided I had to share. I don't understand the neg comments. I went here on a Sat morning, the guard was a jerk but the actually Samaritan staff was amazing! The receptionist was so nice and helpful. After filling out the info I only sat for about 2 minutes then called back. The med assistance Niki was so caring and professional. Dr. Peterson was respectful and listened to me. He was thorough and took very good care of me. He sent a prescription to my Pharmacy and was in and out in under an hour. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND SAMARITAN URGENT CARE ALBANY! I will not hesitate to go again.

I’ve been a patient at this office twice (the most recent time was tonight) and both times I received exceptional care. Both visits were thorough while also being quick. All of the employees I interacted with during both visits were great. In both situations that I needed them, I’m very glad I chose to go there and would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing, caring, helpful staff/RN/MAs. Thorough, empathetic doctor (MD), he noticed other injuries aside from the initial injury that brought me to urgent care. He quickly had the other injury addressed with a friendly, caring medical assistant. Quick x-rays.I am beyond impressed with the care I received. Good job to everyone who works at this clinic! I am forever grateful.

Robin is SUPER GREAT!! Staff at urgent care was superb and love them all!! They all cared about my well-being and treated me as a person!! I love everyone here & thank you all for helping me with this bad cold!!

Great staff all the way around. I was in a lot of pain and wasn’t real thrilled about all the questions but it was the first time I had been there so I understand. They were very nice and fast, I didn’t even have the paper work done before I was called back. Saw Dr. Bybee almost right away. He was very nice and took care of the problem right away, even gave me a box of Kleenex which was needed. THANK YOU! Definitely would go back if needed!

Saved my life. I didn't feel very good. My daughter took me in and after initial wait took me in.once they took my blood pressure and checked my heart rate they talked to my daughter and had her rush me to the hospital. I was in the middle of a thyroid storm. I spent two weeks in Portland hospital and had my thyroid taken out. I had a heart rate of 275 beats a minute . I have been told by many doctors if they had me wait any longer I would be dead !

I love this Urgent Care/ Doctor Office. After being prescribed antibiotic eye drops for eye infection, my eye worsened over two days. My right side of my face was swollen, very very painful! I was living in Medford two days after so I went to Asante Urgent care, waited for a Dr for 3 hours, only to be referred to an Ophthalmologist. Waited two hours for the Ophthalmologist, was told to go home and put a hot wash clothe on my eye- with no diagnosis. I came home today (Feb 2nd) and went right back to Samaritan Urgent care. I was seen in about 30 min, had a very friendly Doctor Kris Helphinstine. He explained to me what was going on with my eye, prescribed me antibiotics, and made sure I was taken care of. I am so thankful for Samaritan and the amazing Doctors, Nurses, and Medical Assistances that are hired!

Despite the other negative reviews I have never had a bad experience here, ever. I went through an unlucky year involving cuts/rashes/health issues and came here every time and was always given accurate, quick, and professional service. I continue to use this urgent care even though I moved out of town, so maybe that says something?

The front desk was friendly and everyone that took care of me as part of the care team was super kind. Overall great experience at this urgent care.

Office staff, nurse were super kind. Dr. Floyd was wonderful. He took time with me, listened to my concerns and did a complete exam. Very helpful!

Sunday night, shortly before closing...fast service, staff and doctor very friendly and professional, excellent advice, provided the first dose of antibiotic because pharmacies were closing shortly.

Treated my Mom and Dad in law with kindness and professional attentiveness!
