Once Upon A Child Fairbanks

I don't know why I didn't write a review sooner. We absolutely LOVE OUCF. Kids grow so fast, we're there often, buying and selling! We came from a tropical place and had 0 winter gear. Wish I had known they were there sooner. All the staff is so sweet and kind but not in a fake way. You can tell they love their job and children. We are saving so much money because brand new is ridiculous expensive. Thank you guys for making our lives easier in this world for the rich... I wish I could give a million stars! They have everything, don't shop anywhere else!

When I moved up here 2 years ago this place was a life saver! I came from the lower 48, and everything that I knew was different here. When I ran into this store “ exploring Fairbanks” I am so glad I did! This store has the best staffing, especially in the last few months. All employees are very chipper, helpful and even have helped me find what I came in looking for no matter how busy the store was. They always have a phenomenal attitude! I don’t think I’ve went in once and they weren’t welcoming. Very clean and organized environment! They have a great selection and not just for baby clothes unlike a lot of other once upon a child franchises. Pricing is better than I’ve seen especially for Alaska! Where I’m from prices are insanely high for no reason! Go check them out! I love this place! The owner Jamie is so sweet!

Odd detail but the place smelt really good! Also, there are so many things for half of olthe cost. Probably more than half like 75%. Great condition. The consignment option is so awesome. For your ever-growing child, its a fantastic alternative to buying new.

I buy & consign from OUAC almost weekly and have never had a negative experience. Their prices and offers are fair, and their customer service is always above & beyond. I’ve also made several purchases from their social media by calling and paying over the phone when I see something I want, it’s really handy! Love this store!

I first stumbled upon this store long before I ever had kids. Now that I have 3 I’ve always gone back to get everything we needed. On a whim I saw a help wanted sign and decided to apply and now I can say I’m proud to be part of the lovely staff that always made me feel welcomed and special. Great place to work and still my favorite place to shop!!

Having shopped at different Once Upon a Child stores throughout the United States, I can honestly say that the Fairbanks location is the cleanest, best organized store. The staff is helpful and friendly! As a foster parent, they are my go to place to shop every time I get a new placement.

We foster and it has been so nice to find great quality items for the 25 children who have been in our home regardless of their age they always find something they love!

The boutique style items that they order in new have made shopping for birthdays and baby showers so much fun! I love being able to find higher end items that I wouldn't normally be able to find in town.

So amazing 🤩 always love their deals and getting store credit for the stuff my kids grow out of. Plus when I was at JoAnn and their bathrooms were closed I was able to run over with a toddler emergency with no judgement!

It looks cleaner and brighter now! Also a whole bunch of new items also and maternity section for you mamas in need! Got my son 5 pairs of pants for what one new pair would cost! Thankful for this store!

I always find the coolest things at Once upon a Child Fairbanks. Their children's book selection can't be beat, especially for the price! I never leave without picking up something.

I cannot rave about OUAC - Fairbanks. The new owner has gone above and beyond to make the store the best resource in the community for new and expectant mothers and their families. Great selection, always clean and organized and the staff is so friendly and nice. I always look forward to shopping here!

Love this store! Just about the only place in Fairbanks with a large assortment of childrens clothes. Most of the clothing is still in very good shape, nothing seems too worn. The only thing I would not recommend buying here would be shoes. Occasionally they have a new pair of boots or sandals that are worth looking for. Definitely the place to go for cute baby/toddler clothes and accessories!

This place is amazing! We have one in Texas, but it’s not near as good as this one! I am so impressed. Emily was very professional and helped tremendously.

Once upon a child offers new and used items for babies and toddlers. If you are looking for a jumper, toys, clothes, developmental, special needs equipment, or what ever your baby/toddler needs are they generally have it. Remember due to the breakup coming soon get your used water boots.

The staff is great and will get what you need. Just remember this is Alaska and takes a little time to ship items here.
