Tabernacle Church of Norfolk

As a youth, this church had a completely Caucasian congregation; I felt unwelcomed. However, now this church has all ethnicities and ages. Pastor Rush is passionate and knowledgeable about the Bible. Everyone is friendly. Praise & worship is blend of contemporary and hymnals. Come & visit.

I strongly encourage you to visit just one time. This will be your church. This church is about loving the person from where they are currently in their life. Accepting all those who have hurting souls . You will not be judged here. You will be loved and have a desire to meet our Savior. It is 100% Family oriented. Camps in the summer , something fun always with educated Christian Leaders classes , prayer groups outings.

Love Tab ..I have Been going online due to illness for almost two years ..met many new friends.. I have met Pastor Clark he helped me through a surgery and my husband had a visit from Pastor Craig during surgery.. Excellent Prayer warriors ready to pray for your needs. Activities for children are great .. warm and friendly doors always open.. I looked for yrs fir a church …I felt I was home the first time listening to Sunday service at Tab…

I am just so pleased with Pastor Craig as well as the staff here. They all make you feel so warm and welcoming.
I used to go to a different church for almost 9 years. Unfortunately after the unfortunate passing of one of the people of the church, it rolled downhill and became more judgemental. I had tried other churches around the area but never felt at home. While I have not physically ATTENDED at this church, I have been watching their live streams on Facebook. I also met with the pastor today and he was as kind as could be and excited to welcome me. Just from his kind words and actions (and from what I have watched from the live streams thus far), this truly feels like home. While I go out of town this week, I will attend physically next week and I am so excited to do so.

A wonderful sermon by Rev. Greg that opened the WeeOnes Christmas presentation. The teacher did a wonderful job preparing the children for the program. Enjoyed by all.

Beautiful church very clean, temperature was perfect, we where there for Uncle's funeral & it certainly was a great experience under the circumstances.

Started going to Tab about 3 years ago, and we haven't looked back since. Great kids programs and great service. We also take our son to daycare and we love it. My family calls Tab home now so come out and see us, we would love the opportunity to worship with you.

A wonderful place to worship God! My husband and I started coming here 4 years ago and instantly we were made to feel at home. Which was such a huge blessing considering my husband is military and we had just moved to Norfolk! It was nice to have a church and people that made a new place feel like home! Now I have the privilege of bringing my daughter to WeeOnes daycare during the week. I can tell my daughter is will loved and cared for while she is there which is such a huge relief as a first time mom. We truly have found our family away from family here at TAB! We love it very much

Tab Church truly cares about reaching out to both the local and global communities to share God's redeeming and life-changing message and love. More and more folks are working together willingly and joyfully in visible and behind-the-scenes ministries. So grateful to God to have Tab as my home church!

My granddaughter goes to Norfolk Christian lower school at this location. It is a wonderful church facility. My granddaughter is getting a world class education here.

Great church with lots of teachings of the bible! Great staff of deacons & deaconess. Great pastor with a power to preaching the gospel... will have you coming back for more

Went here for a graduation. Amazing amount of space for 46 graduates and their families.

God is all and everything, when you think that there is no solution! God is there to say yes yes yes i am the solution..and then everything turn like Gold, because God CAN FIX EVERYTHING...I LOVE GOD..
