I came back home for a quick visit and had to order my favorites! Salmon with vegetable rice and fried broccoli, it never disappoints. It truly a hidden gem in Hampton. Thank you again!

This is a Afrocentric restaurant that sells healthy foods that are home cooked. The mother is a cook and she’s so sweet and the daughter is the cashier, a little standoffish but kind. I would eat here once a week at one point.

People coming in and out so you know the food and atmosphere were top notch! TLC food!

The service was not just quality but also personable - when I called I was quickly given the choices available as well as she called me to let me know my food was ready she used my name and was pleasant and let me know she was happy to provide service to me. The food was delicious and seasoned just right. I didn't say easy on the salt or seasoning, but the seasoning did not overshadow the food. I tasted every delicious flavor of the food. I absolutely love everything, I have ever eaten here. Quality is never lacking. That is hard to find when it comes to restaurants in Hampton. Kentes is a staple in this city. If you haven't tried them please do! You won't be sorry!!

The taste of the veggie rice alone is worth the trip. Enjoyed my salmon and shrimp lunch, got two whole meals out of it. So good and worth it.

We Always enjoy dining at Kent's! The Food and Service are Excellent. It's a Wonderful atmosphere, friendly faces, personable staff. If you like American food with a Caribbean twist, we definitely recommend it.

Kente's is a small hole-in-the-wall place, BUT those are the places I prefer to eat! Everything I've had from them was delicious!! What ever you get or try, make sure you get fried broccoli and some lemonade!! Bussing!!!!

My First TimeToday. A gem one could almost miss, which to me makes it that much more special. I would suggest the grilled salmon, it was cooked perfectly!! You'll love the sides:-) Waitress was very kind and attentive to our needs. You won't be sorry you stopped by.

Found this place due to Google reviews and was not dissapointed. Got the salmon it was delicious and my husband loved his curried chicken and fried okra. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
