I believe my family member has been a patient of almost every single staff member from Heaven Sent over the last year and I could not be any more pleased with what I have witnessed. These people are the most compassionate, caring, accommodating health care providers you could possibly hope for. Every nurse, therapist, etc. that has come in has been more caring than you could imagine. Thank you Heaven Sent, especially Robin.. who is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. ❤

I referred a friend of mine to Heaven Sent for home health. I was told that the nurse was polite and professional. The office staff was also very helpful when they had questions about what their insurance would cover. Apparently the Doctor Who also care for my friend's mom was pleased with the care that she received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for home health care.

I absolutely can not express my gratitude enough for Quintasha and Gwen. They were instrumental in the recovery after husbands back surgery. Those ladies were the only two who came when they said they were and were punctual, caring, compassionate, kind, funny, smart and all around an asset to this company.

My experience is that Heaven Sent was a fabulous agency in 2012 and 2013. When I brought my husband home, who has Parkinson's and Spinal Stenosis, I never thought that 4 and one half years later, he would be still managed at home.
I requested Heaven Scent after he is recovering from the flu, the Physical Therapist and Speech Therapist have been great. The Occupational therapist had a very depressing conversation with myself and my husband. It was in humane to say the least. Today, the Aide that cancelled three times in less than two weeks caused my husband to fall in the shower. My regular aide that is fantastic was assisting her and saved my husband from injury. The aide had checked off on the sheet, things that she had not done. I marked through them with x's. She stated that it was too dangerous to take care of my husband. They are not staffed to take care of individuals and certainly not, those that need it the most. My husband was much sicker and the shower was not, as handicapped in 2012 and 2013. What an incredible change!!!

I had spinal surgery from my tailbone to my shoulder blades and chose Heaven Sent. They sent nurses, occupation therapist and physical therapist to my home. I couldn't take care of myself and it's only me and my mom, which is going through cancer w/ chemo and radiation. So I was staying part-time with her and part-time at my house, which my case manager at my insurance company was aware of because I needed my mom's help with washing, cooking, etc.

Heaven Sent dispatched their nurse for orientation and we went over my needs. I explained to her what surgery I had and showed her my incision, which had surgical tape every half of a inch and a small hole at the very top and the same at the bottom.

The first nurse came, ask my pain level, took my blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen level and was putting her stuff away. I asked her about my incision, then she if she could see it. I showed it to her and told her about my brace rubbing on the bottom hole so she put two bandaids on it. I asked her if she had the 2x2 patches to put on it, she told me that "wound care" was not on her chart and she said she didn't have that type of stuff with her.

Every time a nurse came, except for one, was someone different so I had to ask each one about the wound. Then and only then would they look at it and everyone of them told me it looked okay and none of them changed the two bandaids on the bottom, they just pulled the bandaids away and put them back on to the point my mom had to put a piece of tape across the end of them so they would stay on. None of them ask me to take my hard plastic brace off that was from the bottom wound all the way up past my shoulder blades in the front and back, so HOW could they look at the whole incision?
The last nurse that came to close out the nuring part of the case tried to extend it due to something about my medication. When I told her no, she called the office and told her boss what I said. Her boss told her that since I wasn't living at my house full-time, they had to cancel my contract and cancel both of my therapist as well. My Insurance Company knew about it and they knew it from the beginning and it was okay until then.
I called the On-call Physician that following weekend and the next week I went to my Primary Care Physician and he did a culture test on the bottom wound and it came back positive for an infection and I am currently on antibiotics (penicillin) for it.

I called their office to complain and spoke to their office manager in Colonial Heights, he was very , arrogant and rude. Then he told me that every nurse looked at and measured my wound, which NONE of them did! I would like to know what measurement they had because I can definitely prove them wrong. Then, they told me that they informed the doctor about the wound and he told them to let it air dry, if that WAS THE CASE, why were the two bandaids LEFT ON UNTIL THE END??? How could any of this be true if the last nurse that closed my case when I was complaining to her, also told me that my file still Did Not show "wound care"? Unless, it was Added Later...

Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend them to take care of anything from this point forward. If you care about yourself or a loved one, I would Think Twice about it!

As soon as they find any reason to cancel their service they will abandon you with no warning. Best advice I could give you is to look for a company who cares about you, your family, and your time, BTW they do not care how late or early they come, and they are extremely rude and rush you when you express your concerns. You can do better trust me.

we were charged for the nurse's only visit to only answer some questions, did nothing, only doing paper work. Should have done online or filled by mail.
We charged for the physiotherapist first visit only to do the same thing as the nurse, we paid for nothing.
They cancelled our appointments twice to give to someone else, they prefer some people on others.
I don't recommend them, sorry.

The nurses were good but the office was terrible. I had insurance issues (not my fault) and was made to feel that I wss a liar. Additionally I was charged for services that my insurance told me I was not responsible for. Would not reccomend them at all.

3 of the reviews for this agency are from employees and family members. Seems like they are pretty desperate for good reviews. I would stay far away!
