Hibachi Express

This place is phenomenal! You know it's about to get REAL when a 10 year old walks out and takes your order.

I come here once a week to pick up their hibachi chicken and it's incredibly filling. The food is prepared quickly, owned by a small family, and their yum-yum sauce complements the hibachi cuisine. Plus, it's all affordable as someone who has a busy lifestyle haha.

Take-out they give you a huge portion, enough to potentially give you two meals. Again, I'd highly recommend it.

Delicious food with dip! I requested the friendly owner to put aluminum foil to protect against styrofoam melting on the bottom, which can release harmful styrene chemicals, and he did. Appreciated it and tipped for the service.

This place is delicious! My husband and I get the habachi chicken. It includes habachi chicken, fried rice, and seasoned veggies. The portions are always large and delicious. Reasonably priced too! I definitely recommend this place. We typically place our order prior to arrival and it’s always ready when we get there. They give you a time estimate when you call. Today our estimate was only 10 minutes. We ordered dinner for 3. That’s quick! Go to Habachi Express, you’ll be glad you did.

My first time coming in but I think I found my new hibachi spot. The restaurant looks very clean. The customer service is a1 and the food is good(I will remember to ask for no veggies. I feel like I could’ve got more meat cause they wouldn’t have been able to make it look like I got more than what I did, if that makes sense). Reasonably priced. Like I said it was my first time eating here and I am definitely impressed!

Delicious and very reasonable. You don't sit at the Teppan Yaki Grill.... however the food is better in my opinion.

This is definitely the best place, I promise you that! It’s very clean there, staff is very kind, and the food is amazing!! I wish I had a picture to put on here but I couldn’t wait to eat it, they give you a lot of food in your to go box, I mean mine was packed to the top and for one plate I only spent $12! Anyways I could go on and on about the food, go check it out!

My favorite hibachi in town. The pricing is great and the take out boxes are jam-packed. They can also turn your order around in about 10 minutes if they're not busy. Even during peak hours I don't think I had to wait more than 20 minutes.

One of the best take out restaurants in town, by far. Fresh vegetables and tender cuts of steak, chicken or shrimp cooked to perfection. Very clean and sanitary inside with a touch free method of payment. It is well worth every penny because 1 hibachi meal could realistically feed 2 people, but it is so good you will not want to share. One of out top 3 favorite restaurants.

The best habchi food I have tasted in VA! This place gives you so much food for your money. I would eat here everyday if I could. The food is always fresh and delicious!

Friendly staff, clean atmosphere, quick service, amazing food!

I honestly would have gave them a 4.5 rating. ... I loved that they have late hours, nice variety of food including vegetarian options! With that being said, we had some items missing from our order but that was rectified very quickly. The lady behind the register was very friendly but keep your ears open bc she is hard to understand! In my opinion the food Could of used more flavor! I would def recommend if your looking for a quick hibachi style

This the best hibachi in town we at work have hibachi Friday and drive 20mins to pick it up.

Food is always excellent! I have seen many interactions with the people of Hampton and the cashier. All I have to say is Hampton people suck and think they are priority 1 all the time. Never saw an interaction that didn't make me cringe from why the customer was upset.Keep up the good work Hibachi Express

Was passing through and a local recommended Hibachi Express for dinner. Food was amazing and great prices.

Nice and bright atmosphere when entering the building. Cashier was very friendly, and helpful in my experience. The Shrimp Lomein tasted great, and portion is like most other Chinese restaurants. However, the Vegetable Delight and Steak & Shrimp Hibachi meals were delicious and comes with decent portions of everything as well as sauce.

This place is the best- honestly better then most all actual "Sit down" restaurant style Japanese restaurants; I really wish they had a location back on Mercury Blvd again but I'll drive 20 mins completely out of my way to come here!!! Best value, great portions-best quality you cant go wrong!!! I like to get the chicken and shrimp or double up the chicken to get my protein in; always made to order and fresh right in front of you.

When they moved they did away with the sushi - bummer- cause they had great sushi when the were on mercury before they burned down.

Amazing, amazing, amazing place to grab some quick hibachi! The prices are great, portions are huge, and the shop is clean and well managed. The only downside is the seating, but the takeout is always available. I love coming here for a quick bite!
