Ocean View Fishing Pier Restaurant

Way better food than i had expected. Service was slow but made more sense when i went downstairs. One waitress hustling all by herself. Though, it was off season so, probably bare minimum staff. The food and drinks were solid though. And the view was fantastic.

We went there to celebrate a passing and also to celebrate a visit that was long overdue. We had a good time the food was good and the atmosphere was better. The water was lit up so that we could see tiny fish.. It was breezy but not cold.. It seemed almost like in the movies.. The dedications on the walk down the pier where fun to read and watching the fisherman clean their fish. I've lived here my whole life and that's my first time going but I will definitely be returning...

I love this place! Best ceviche, cold drinks, incredible views! All the bartenders, waitresses and staff are friendly and helpful. I was visiting from NC, but if I lived here, I'd be a regular. Make sure to check out the rooftop bar and restaurant!

We came here at night for dinner and it wasn't busy. The food was good. Staff was nice. Nice view from the top deck. We sat at a glider table which was pretty cool. Firecracker shrimp tacos with beans and rice and the burgers were delicious.

Did not eat but came in for drinks. (Drinks were good) Would like to come back to eat and sit outside when the weather is nice. The bartenders were super nice, and really tried. Quirky regulars and fun bartenders....wow, just like the good ol days.

Enjoyed the food and the server was friendly. The atmosphere was FABULOUS!! Eating on the roof and enjoying the sunset at the same time was the best!!

I'd like to give them 10 stars for atmosphere, nachos & steamed shrimp. Oh, and shots of Honey Jack!

It was awesome! The ambience was amazing! Our server was amazing! The crab dip, and chicken wings (when u bite into u can see the steam coming from the bone), and mai tai was amazing! It was very unique sitting in a glider but it was great too! Can't wait to go back!

This place is amazing! Such a fun and light atmosphere, food and drinks are great and so is the service! We love their swing/rocking sits, it’s so cute and fun for both kids and adults. You might have to wait a bit to be seated, but you got the beautiful view of the ocean, beach and pier to enjoy while u wait! It’s a win all around!

P.S if you put your name down on the waitlist, you get to walk on the pier for free, and return to the restaurant once you get the txt that your tables ready!

Last minute, no planning, landed here... shrimp ceviche was fresh and delicious... the dragonfruit refresher was exactly that... beautiful view, amazing sunset, and thanks to Emma for her great service! 👍🍹🎉

Best restaurant I have ever been to! Been here two nights in a row and the service was phenomenal, food was superb, the view was exhilarating and the cleanliness was amazing! Eating dinner with the people you love while watching the sunset, what more could you ask for?!? By the way on April 30 I believe her name was Kate, she was super nice and all of the other servers continued to assist each other! Tonight we had a Filipino girl, she was awesome as well!!!

This place is amazing. If you can go for their happy hour. The food is on point and has somewhat of a local twist. Sunset on the bar is breathtaking and relaxing. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Didn’t do any fishing but it looked like people were enjoying themselves and were catching fish!

Great place!! We sat on the roof and loved our jumbo shrimp under the canopy (it was a hot day). Service was great and we'll definitely be back. Also, alot of people fishing today off the pier!!

This is my favorite restaurant in Virginia Beach. It’s laid back, relaxed and the food and drinks is amazing. You can sit upstairs on rocking chairs or downstairs in the A/C. We make sure to go here every year when we visit!

Gotta love a fun bar & brasserie that backs up to the Chesapeake. Great seafood and chicken wings for us. Some finely mixed drinks at not-overboard prices. Hip hopping’ icon music playing making everyone smile. Victoria the waitress keeps shuckin’ & jivin’ as she makes her way through the happy tables to make sure each patron is enjoying the sunny moments. We look forward to our next venture to the Norfolk/VaBeach environs, and for sure will hit this pier locale for a timeless beachy, oceanside adventure that might be good enough for my next paperback travel-novel! 🏖 🍹 🍸 🤠

The longest fishing pier in America. Make a reservation or arrive early if you want to eat on the roof and enjoy the breathtaking view. Classic bar favorites and upscale seafood and steak options. Cocktails and drink specials nightly, live music indoors in the downstairs portion. A very chill vibe with great food.

One of my fav area hidden gems. Sunset in the top deck is pretty fab. Decent menu. Somewhat limited beer selection. But great vibe. Can be a bit of a wait for a table, but worth it. You can also walk on up and sit in a variety of spots and just order through the bar.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to visit. The panoramic views are stunning. With a friendly staff, Ocean View Fishing Pier is the perfect place to eat, fish or spend a peaceful morning basking in the sunlight!

Had an enjoyable time fishing. Pier is definitely long enough to accommodate several people! Gets a little breezy, the farther you walk out. The people working the pier are extremely friendly and helpful.

Very good service, friendly staff, scenic environment, two floors to have a meal, as well as a location to fish from.
