Best Western Hampton Coliseum Inn

Great stay! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable! The staff was friendly and it was a very convenient location! I would definitely stay there again if the price is right.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, all appliances were in good working condition and there is no carpeting on the floor which is a definite plus for those with allergies. Breakfast was plentiful and good, with different dishes daily. Parking lot is safe with good lighting. You will not go wrong if you choose this hotel.

Check-in was fast and efficient. I checked in a day early than my reservation and Jack said it wasn't a problem and was able to give me a room at a good rate. I found the room to be clean, large and looks very modern. The king size bed was very comfortable and there is a coffee maker, microwave, and a small refrigerator. The TV is a nice size flat screen and there's cable with many stations. I didn't really like the shower head very much but it works and the towels are very thick and thirsty. Overall my room is quiet and I rarely heard my neighbors or anybody out in the hallway. I could not hear any street sounds and I was on the 4th floor. The buffet breakfast I felt was pretty good and the only negative were the scrambled eggs which were mostly rubbery in texture. The buffet has a good variety of breakfast items including a waffle maker, yogurt, dry and hot cereal, pastries, and a good selection of different types of sausage each day along with the eggs and on some days there were potatoes and corned beef hash. I felt the turkey sausage and the corned beef hash along with the potatoes where the best items served. The motel is near the convention center and coliseum and within walking distance to several different fast food and sit down restaurants. Well worth staying.

My family and I stay here at least once a month for a night and sometimes as long as a week. We haved stayed all over Hampton but this is now our one and only choice.
now. As soon as we walk in the door we are greeted by our name by one of the Wonderful front desk employees and the rooms are always super clean. If we need anything then there is always someone there to help and they are always super nice. Kelly Jessica and John have always gone above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect and the last time Michelle was our housekeeper and she did a super job. I wish I knew all there names they are all great. So I would always recommend this as a place for anyone and it will continue to be ours when we are in town

Lovely breakfast. Great accommodations as far as a desk in the room. Plenty of outlets, for my equipment. The staff was lovely even the night front desk manager greeted me with a smile. Check-In and Out was a breeze. More pillows the necessary on the bed, can't complain about that. All in all I think this was my best stay away.

Hotel was very clean and well lit up in the dark. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was restaurant good meaning tasted good was warm and prepared we;;

The desk staff was attentive and amazing! Overall great stay if you need to come to the Coliseum for any event!

The front desk staff were amazing and just so unbelievably kind that I honestly felt like I could burst by the end of my week there. They were very hospitable and generous. On the first day we had breakfast, there just before they started cleaning up what I believe to be the manager came to us and asked if there was anything else we wanted before they start putting stuff away even though breakfast time was over. This same man also went out of his way to bring a small tray of turkey sausage patties to my mother on a different day when she had asked him if the sausages already out were the turkey ones. When he said no, she simply accepted that and went back to what she was doing, so you can only imagine her surprise when he came to her with the tray. Not only that but they also make and give out popcorn to guests everyday. I swear, these people are angels. Aside from that, the hotel itself was nice and beautiful. The pool was nice and clean and so were the rooms. The placement of the AC wasn't bad either since it wasn't right next to the bed where it would make whoever uses that bed freeze. They conveniently placed an ice machine on both the 1st and 3rd floors as well so that was a plus. To top it all off, the location of the hotel itself made it easy to reach a lot of restaurants and some stores. Their only fault is that the breakfast buffet should last an hour longer and end at 10am everyday instead of 9am and then 10am only on the weekends. I think that would make the hotel even MORE amazing since people won't have to wake up as early on their vacation to eat. All in all, I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever came back to Hampton. Best Western has been great.

I stayed here the other day on vacation visiting family . The rooms were so clean. The beds were made perfectly! Kayla at the front desk was very helpful on everything that I needed!! You don't find that a lot. She done an amazing job! I highly recommend going here to stay while you are in Hampton, VA. I will definitely stay here again when I come back!!

Stayed a week with our grandkids at this location. Outstand service, very clean room, and great location. Staff was very helpful in that our flight was delayed a day and worked out our reservation to extend a day.

Heads up, in May '22 this is going to be a super location as a water park is under construction immediately behind the location. Book early!

Our stay was amazing room was very clean, beds and pillows were excellent and restroom was clean. The lady that was there for housekeeping on the first full day of our stay and the day we left was extremely friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Virginia to visit.

This hotel has new owners a beautiful sweet couple that personally make sure their guests are happy. For the price this place is perfect, hot breakfast with eggs potatoes grits bananas. Pretty much everything you'd want for breakfast. The rooms are clean and the staff I friendly and professional.

I stayed here for over a month (due to relocation). I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Modern, clean, safe, conveniently located to all types of shopping, transportation, affordable with great amenities. The staff is absolutely the best, courteous, professional, friendly and efficient. Definitely will miss being made to feel special. Without any hesitation I highly recommend and shall return.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The front desk staff was a little cold and could use some skills on greeting and customer service with a smile.

I haven't stayed here in awhile but the nice guy at the front desk told me it's been recently renovated. The beds were super comfy and it's nice what they did with the rooms. I only spent one night and I'll be sure to tell my friends at HU to stay there. Tell Orion I said it was nice talking to him.

Great place to stay! Friendly management. Very nice pool and has a well equipped fitness center.

My stay was comfortable and relaxing. I was checked in quickly and professionally. I thought I was going to have a problem but they had all my information. The room was very clean and spacious. I will stay here again when I return to the city.

From check-in to check-out the experience was very smoothly handled. Very accomodating and Pierre at front desk was super nice. He even gave me one of his personal waters because I didn't have any change for vending machine.
The room was clean as was the property. The bed was so much more comfortable than some of the other hotels. Good value for the money. I would recommend!

Rooms were spotless, bed was super comfy, and Mariana at the front desk is my absolute FAVORITE! She’s so sweet and always helps me as best as she can when I have questions or need anything! Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in town!

Nice hotel and great staff!! Very clean and supplies well stocked. Front desk was very quick at resupplying anything you may need. 5/5 recommend for anyone passing through Hampton or any event at the Coliseum being as it’s within walking distance to the Coliseum, Hooters, McDonald’s, and convenience stores.
