My favorite cake from Stella's is the Dark and white chocolate mousse cake. It's got everything I like in one cake - vanilla , chocolate and mousse - and that topping, I just love it!
I'm trying their other cakes , as they all look scrumptious, but for now, my favorite remains the dark and white chocolate mousse cake

Ordered many cakes from Stella’s and they are always so fresh and so tasty. They never disappoint. Its better to call ahead if you can to make sure you get what you’re looking for.

Beautiful, clean and well organized European bakery with a large assortment of bread, pastries, cakes, chocolates, and more. Expresso drinks also available. Competitive prices, $3.50 for baguettes and almond croissants, $2.75 for small cappuccino. Fast and attentive service, though not the most friendly, the lady who helped me was a bit curt, which I think could just be a cultural difference. She reminded me of my strict German grandmother, which is fine, just different. No tables in bakery, so you can't dine in. Definitely plan to return for more baguettes.

My family has been buying cookies and cakes from here for nearly every special occasion for YEARS. Their napoleon is genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had, and their cookies are also delicious. Their baklava and various fruit cakes are top tier as well.

Stella has amazingly delicious cake! This is my go-to place for picking up birthday & special occasion cakes (they will write on the cake for you)! 🎂 You can order ahead to save time waiting in line. I recommend the Black and white cake or the Grand Marnier🥂

A family favorite for as long as I can remember. We get every dessert for every special occasion from Stella’s. They are the absolute best!

They have the best cakes in the entire DMV area! U can trust them for consistency every single time. I have been buying their cakes since more than 10 years and never found it any less in quality or taste. Recently ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday over phone and just told them about adding teal and purple touches and they did it so beautifully.

Genuine European (Greek) style bakery. Everything we have tried there is delicious. Fresh and true flavors, without excess sugars or butter. This has been our go to bakery for the past 20 years. A real gem.

Good local bakeshop. Sometimes I’ve questioned how fresh some of the goods are (I’m almost certain I had a day old croissant a couple times), but everything else is decent.

Love Stella's! Discovered it years ago. It quickly became our favorite for birthday cakes. The mousse cakes are the best, but we've tried almost all the cakes, and they have all been delicious. The staff are always efficient and courteous. Highly recommend.

You would be able to buy well balanced cake. Not too sweet, but delicious. Also there are several kinds of breads and cookies.

Stella is probably one of the best bakeries in Bethesda and Rockville. Great pastries, fresh cookies and of course their cakes. Around holidays, make sure to order cakes in advance, as it gets very crowded.

Been coming here since the 90’s for all family member birthday cakes. We each have our favorites too from White Chocolate to Dark Chocolate to Grand Marnier. Not to mention the Turkey pies (on the rare occasion they’re not sold out). This place is an institution. Service has always been professional and the writing on the cake is expert level calligraphy.

Got a cake for our wedding here. Very reasonably priced and beautifully done. Everyone at the wedding couldn't stop talking about how good the cake was. Will definitely be going back for more.

If you live in Montgomery County and you don’t know about this place shame on you!!

I have been going to Stella’s Bakery for 20+ years and I have never been disappointed. Whenever I need a cake / desert for a special occasion Stella’s never disappoints. I have recommended this bakery to everyone and they’ve loved it.

The only recommendation that I can give is make sure you get there right when they open because everything goes really quick. Getting there early is the best because you get a chance to see everything that has just come out of the oven.

Fine European style bakery! Their cakes are more like desserts, with layers of delicate sponge cake and mousse and whipping cream and are not too sweet. Very elegant and for thr refined palate!

By far the best place for baked goods, chocolates, cakes, and Greek specialties. The service is very organized yet personable.

Purchased 2 individual portions of tiramisu yesterday. It was the best I have ever had! I bought it as a 'gift.' I asked for a special bow (small fee for that). The box looked so beautiful as did the tiramisu! It was almost too beautiful to eat. I also bought a box of 8 assorted chocolates that I shared with friends. They loved them!! I will absolutely be back!
