Giant Food

Crystal who usually works in the self check out section assisting people, is super friendly and positive. One day I was there and she was helping my family who may not have spoken English very well, and she was so patient and kind with them. She always has a smile on her face and is very helpful! More people could definitely take lessons from her on customer service!

I like that when I'm in the area this Plaza has restaurants and banks also other stores to get to Marshall's is located here. But I like that this location sells fresh squeeze orange juice that they squeeze in a machine in the store every day. Also I sometimes I can find my Daughter red velvet cake there.

Clean, great selection, nice produce. Helpful staff and amazing pharmacy staff.

The store experience is pretty quick if you use self checkout here. Prices are fair, selection is good, and employees are very helpful. Also friendly. Annoying to park and some people eat lunch while charging their EVs so good luck finding an available plug. Otherwise it's perfectly fine place to shop

Huge store, meticulously clean, well arranged and signage so it is easy to find area of items you want. There is a very large, well marked and supplied kosher area that is relatively new. Didn't Look at fresh meats, fish and bakery areas as it was late night trip, but dairy section and frozen foods, for example, were in new refrigerators and freezers lining the store front to back. Amazing variety of brands within most areas. I also found staff to be very helpful and so pleasant! Not my closest Giant, though I like it, too, but I predict I will stop at the Montrose area much more often now when in the area! BTW, loved the fresh florals and produce variety, too!

Today's shopping experience was a positive one especially with the forecasted snow expected to start early tomorrow morning. As anticipated there was an increase in the number of shoppers but not enough to required a line outside. I was able to get most all the items on my shopping list. The deli associates are always pleasant and and they always tell you "thanks" and to have a good day. That's very pleasant! Check out lines were not too long. The self checkout line moved quickly. The associates were pleasant and very helpful.

I come here every Friday woth My hubsnad and we love the quality,quantity, and freshness of the super market. Especially the floral section, gotta check it out! They also have a full kosher section freezer, Fish, meat, and all! Will not be disappointed

This Giant is the best grocery store in the area. They might not be the best at certain specific things but the only other grocery store I visit nowadays away from this one is the Wegmens in Germantown.

The meat guys offer some really nice cuts, and occasionally they get top of the line fish.

Overall great bread, well run deli, always have rotisserie chicken and sushi. The fresh produce section is usually on point. Would be careful of the onions and broccoli, sometimes these go bad. Would like to see fresher chips option, but they do have store made and they are decent but check the dates.

The Online Grocery Pick Up Department here is EXCELLENT!!! I've used this location's grocery pick up service for over a year, and the employees - specifically Chris and Brad - are always courteous, professional, pay great attention to detail with the orders, pick great produce and substitutions, and are excellent communicators to the customers on the phone and in person! Great place to get food and medicine. I’ve been a loyal customer at the pharmacy for years now and it’s been a very good experience. Pharmacists are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Shopping at Giant Food is, for me, a very interesting experience. I make a list of things I need, but the products Giant Food carries are so inticing, I usually buy just a bit more than what's on my list. Sometimes, at the Rockville Pike location, it's a bit difficult finding some help to locate an item, but when an employee is found, they go over and above helping; of course all aisles have guide plaques...just look up and there they are - listed. At Giant Food, checking out has a choice; either personal check out the electronic way, or checking out in line meeting the people behind the register checking you out. This affords shoppers with friendly chit chat and the human touch. Keep up the good work Giant Food.

I've come to this giant a few times and also been to other Giants in the area. This is by far the nicest one with the largest selection. My wife will go out of her way to come to this Giant because of how nice it is.

Warm, friendly fast and efficient. Stock is being replenished quickly and I was able to get everything on my list. Prices are still high but that is unfortunately expected. Always a pleasant shopping experience.

The best Giant that I have ever been to. My fiance and I tried the bourbon wings and Mac n cheese for lunch from the hot food bar. The food was a hit! Try it I promise that you won't be disappointed

This Giant is a great grocery store. There are multiple ways in and out if the parking area and there is ample parking. So, easy in, easy out. Additionally, the store is well organized and easy to get around. The aisles are roomy, and it is easy to find what you're looking for. When it's time to check-out, you can choose self check out (of which there are 10) or go through one of the regular check-out lines. The self check- out is very streamlined, and there's always someone available to help.
