Econo Lodge Naval Station Norfolk

stayed a night. rooms were clean. service was good. it was nice having a fridge and microwave in the room... free wifi.. cable. location was good. a satisfying visit. thank you.

The rooms were clean. In general, the area was quiet throughout the night. The staff were very friendly & helpful, above & beyond my expectations.

The staff is very attentive and caring for different needs, I felt like they enjoyed the work they did. It feels a lot more homey then any 5 star hotel, it's also right next to base for any body in need of a quick and easy commute to the main gate.

I was a little concerned because of some of the bad reviews but my experience here has been fantastic. The beds are brand new, somthing I wasn't expecting. The room was very clean and comfortable and better than what I expected for the price. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating during our stay. They were hauling out old bedding from the rooms and so a large dumpster was right outside our room filled with old mattress and box springs. This place is undergoing some renovation and its still a wonderful place to kick back and relax.
My brother and I will definitely be staying here again because it really is the best value for your dollar. I highly recommend as long as you have reasonable expectations and some common sense about you.

Staff was so friendly, very helpful, very clean, lots of hot water and shower pressure, breakfast was good, only thing is they advertise a pool and there isn't one. 3 mins from my son's house, we would stay again without hesitation, close to restaurants and grocery store

Had a great stay on a weekend where everything was booked up or incredibly expensive! SO works at Norfolk Naval Station so I got this place to visit him and couldn't have had a better stay! I already booked it again for the next weekend. The service was better than what I've gotten at any other hotel and the rooms were nice and clean. I also had no issues with the WIFI, in fact it worked great for me to complete some work! Will definitely be staying here in the furture!

The manager is very personable, and the staff is very helpful and attentive. If you need something done or changed, they do it quickly and efficiently. I stay here at least four nights a month when i’m in norfolk to visit my boyfriend. It’s important to note that the location is not very close to the beach, and that you are getting what you’re paying for. For such a low price, the rooms are great. The beds are comfortable, the water is hot, and the air conditioning works perfectly.

Very friendly and nice employees, room are pretty nice, not like a hotel in A. C. but not bad for a night or two,

Breakfast included; cable tv included, WiFi included, tiny microwave, tiny fridge, laundry facility was clean, staff was kind, had some issues that were resolved, bed was big and clean, while the hotel is a little outdated it didn’t matter we were in a pinch since other hotels were booked. I can’t complain much. I liked that the doors were heavy too. I felt safe. If I’m in a bind again I look forward to coming back. It helps that a wawa was right next to me, and other stores. Walking wasn’t an issue. :)

We like staying here when we come to town. Julia works the front desk and she is awesome person. She is very helpful and it does not take her long to check us in.

I am an active duty CoastGuardsman, My brother and I have stayed at the Hampton Inn on Hampton BLVD. for two weeks. For those past two weeks I have only revived exceptional service. Firstly the front desk was very professional and courteous and offered competitive pricing, better then the navy lodge and Hampton inn.

Next, the room service treated us like family. They happily made several accommodations for us including additional pilllows, and even a room change.

The quality inn also offers a free breakfast buffet every morning from 6am to 9am. The breakfast bar had everything you could imagine. Waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, and bagels. The breakfast bar was well maintained and very clean.

During our stay our bathroom had a small leak, after calling the front desk we had a repair man at our room within 3 minutes. The repair man was professional and well mannered and fixed the bathroom very quickly.

Lastly we had a run in with the manager at the front desk. He was very professional and takes pride in his profession. Lastly he is extremely supportive of all military personnel.

You can’t beat the professionalism, price, or breakfast. My brother and I will definitely be back.

I came here to visit family over the Labor Day weekend. The hotel is close to my destination and had a vacancy last minute. I have one comfortable king-size bed, the room smells good and is clean.

Very nice staff-all 3 shifts♡ Cleaning was great! The breakfast was one of the best continental ever- and the staff was great too! If back in this area, we will be back and would recommend :)

No hassle reservation, clean spacious room, roomy parking. Polite staff willing to make changes to reservation at last minute with no hassle. Close enough to ODU campus. Will stay again

Relaxing place to go for a little getaway.Breakfast was awesome,bed was comfortable!Housekeeping are doing a terrific job!Far as front desk for the most part friendly as always some people are just not happy with them selves.You just keep it moving let your light shine regardless💝☺

My room was very clean and the guy at the front desk Mr.Bo was very helpful and nice.Would definitely recommend this econolodge as the cleanest in Norfolk and kid friendly

Very close to base, but also close to a lot of good restaurants. Rooms are average as far as hotels go, and sometimes the showers are cold, but the staff is very good and relaxed.

Very clean rooms, very good staff, awesome breakfast. I liked this hotel. Awesome experience with Quality inn Norfolk Naval base.

Got room and was only one thing wrong with it and they changed are room without any hassle. Customers service is great and house keeping is outstanding...
