Tru by Hilton Norfolk Airport

Everyone here is so nice. They make you feel so welcome. We travel a lot and we have stay in many different hotels but nothing compares to this location. We have stayed at others Tru by Hilton and have had bad experiences. This location specifically is amazing. I recommend you staying here.

My daughter’s aau traveling team traveled to Virginia only to have a bad hotel experience at a previous hotel. They then picked up and traveled to Tru by Hilton and was given a warm embracing welcome by Anthony. Anthony handled everything professionally and ensured that they would be satisfied for the rest of their journey. As a mother, this makes my heart smile because we never want our kids going elsewhere where they are treated unfairly.

Anthony the front desk concierge & Tru Hotel in Norfolk gets 5 stars from me and anytime I am in the area I will be utilizing this hotel! I’ve traveled with an entire team of basketball players and the first hotel we reserved was dirty and unkept. We immediately checked out in the middle of the night after traveling over 10 hours and in desperate need of rest . Anthony was so on it and took excellent care of us. I /we, are forever grateful. Anthony was very knowledgeable on what to do he listened and he assured us everything is going to be better and he was right! Not only was he amazing but so was the hotel. We are definitely coming back.Thank again to Anthony and Tru Hotel!!

The hotel has a great location! Plenty of parking, walking distance to multiple food options, a lovely walking trail around a lake, and shopping close by. The hotel was very clean, rooms were quiet, everything functional, and really a comfortable place to stay.

I truly enjoyed staying here. Stayed for 3 nights and slept amazing! Our shower pressure was low, and the water was not that hot the first night. We let the front desk know, and the next shower was perfect!! Everyone was extremely nice, and the hotel was very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for 1 night while on a short business trip. Had a surprisingly pleasant stay.
Spacious room, with extra towels in place, very clean. I especially liked the modern interior concept , which replaced the bulky closet with on the wall hooks and open concept closet idea.
Didn’t get to try their breakfast. So cannot comment on it.
There is ample parking space around hotel.
It is definitely a good value hotel to stay.

Great place for an over night stay. One again the front desk team made us feel at home as soon as week walked in the door and that makes a huge difference in our stay.

We will be looking for this Hotel brand in the future. Good, clean rooms. The TV welcomes you by name when you come in. No dirty carpet. Shower stall, no yucky bathtub.
Lobby is mostly welcoming, free pool table, games, comfy seating (but some chairs need cleaning). Good continental breakfast, gym.

Great place to stay! Room was clean, tv worked great, bathroom was spotless, and shower had fantastic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash: 'Not Soap, Radio' brand!

Staff is very friendly and makes you comfortable throughout your whole stay! This place is extremely clean, with modern design, and fresh amenities not found at other hotels. There is a welcome message on your TV, a welcome bag with water & chips, and comfy beds! Decor is fresh and inviting with functionality like non waste shampoo/conditioner/soap reusable bottles that hang on wall, not tiny bottles you use once and throw away. Bench to sit on while putting on your shoes, pegs to hang coat or clothes, small refrigerator in every room.

Best hotel we stayed on this trip and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. My kids loved the self-serving pancake machine and the tasty bacon. Queen room is not big, but the shower and the dimmable lights are delights. Hotel feels new and modern. The whole family enjoyed its lobby, which has 24hrs tea and coffee, two TVs, lots of comfortable seating, and a pool table. Fantastic location. Many restaurants in walking distance. One minute drive to the outlet mall and several minutes drive to most restaurants or stores you can think of.

This hotel is clean and modern, the staff is kind and accommodating, and the location is walkable to shops and places to eat. What more do you need? My husband, small dog, and I had planned to stay at another hotel down the road, but chose to leave late on a Friday night after discovering a serious cleanliness issue. Tru by Hilton was able to book us last minute when other hotels couldn't. They saved us BIG time. Thank you so much!!

Booked this as a last minute reservation for a decent price, rooms were nice and the staff was friendly. Also enjoyed the breakfast

Our family had a great experience at this hotel. The location is perfect near the airport and right next to the premium outlets with good restaurants close by. There is also a nice walking trail directly in front of the hotel. The staff were nice and helpful and breakfast was good. It is a minimalist type hotel so no microwave or coffee maker in the room, but coffee is always hot and available in the lobby. We came for a basketball tournament so a washer & dryer would have been great, but I knew that before I booked our stay. It's a nice clean hotel and those are sometimes hard to find nowadays. Very nice hotel without the frills. Clean spacious room. Pleasant front desk personnel and housekeeping. Standard post-Covid breakfast. Competitive price. I plan on using Tru again.

Clean and hip hotel! Conveniently located near the outlet, highways, airport, and bases. Lots of food options nearby as well....can just walk out of the hotel and everything is right there!

Plenty of free parking. The breakfast is nicer than other chain hotels; good coffee and tea around the clock. You can hang out in the common area, read, work, or play pool! Will definitely book here again over other options nearby.

Convenience location. The negative is no bus to go to airport. Only 3.9 miles cost $50 for UBER. Add this number to the room cost when I shop for hotel.

Clean room and bathroom. Bed was medium, not too hard or too soft. Room was quiet and very little sound from other rooms. Bath Towels were a bit small. No carpet, only tile/lvt floor which is fine by me. Reception desk was attentive and courteous. Snack bar was almost empty. No nonsense stay in a clean room. Felt safe. Overall good 👍

I stay here quite often and the rooms are always clean, the water pressure is good, and the beds are super comfy. Staff downstairs in the morning has always been cheerful and provided good service. The breakfast, although it’s not Chick-fil-A, it’s a nice bonus, and you can eat somewhat healthy without having to pay extra. Overall a super value for the money.

This is a great play to stay if you're needing to be close to the airport. The rooms were clean, the decor was nice and everything about the hotel seemed very new. There were several fun games in the lobby. You can request board games and card games, and there's also a pool table.
