Adorable little hole in the wall kind of place! You walk in and are greeted by wonderful smells and a super friendly staff. I picked up a pretzel, scone, and a cupcake and all were fantastic! Make the trip to Shockoe Bottom and visit these lovely folks!

Yum! You can taste the hand-made love. Friendly and inviting small shop. Iced coffee and a pastry on a Saturday is exactly perfect.

I stopped in for the first time this morning at this place. My spouse and I got a lot of pastries. We tired the donut, cinnamon roll, quiche, spinach and feta scone, cheddar biscuit, and coffees.
Everything was amazing! The quiche was buttery with a lovely crust, the spinach and feta had great flavors, and the donuts were SO GOOD. And the coffee was quality!
I would highly recommend JJ's Makery to anyone visiting the Churchill area.

I’ve been here multiple times since they opened and oh my god, everything I’ve tasted has been amazing!

Their breakfast puffs are delightful and the sausage and gravy biscuit is so good.

I’m not sure what kind of magic is put into their kouign-amann , but you need it in your life. Great bakery all around. Happy to have them in the neighborhood!

I just discovered this existed and I have to say, I’m sad I didn’t come sooner! They have a wide range of delicious eats/baked goods at a reasonable price. Everything I got was great (got biscuits+gravy, cinnamon sugar biscuit, donuts, and a quiche). Highly recommend checking it out!

J J's Makery is the most delicious way to start your morning. They had fresh biscuits, amazing scones, cookies, cupcakes, coffee....YUM! They are in Church Hill, so come by if you are in the neighborhood, and you will leave happy! I did.

Since they've opened, JJ's has added a number of vegan (and other) options to the rotation, making them my favorite place to stop in the morning. Their standard white bread and sweet potato biscuits are excellent.

JJs has filled the shoes of WPA and then some! Great coffee, amazing selection of pastries, and friendly service! I can’t wait until I can spend an afternoon enjoying their cozy little space again. Until then, we will gladly take our to-go from these lovely ladies!

Know what you want before you go in, because once you walk in and smell it you’re gonna want one of everything. Ordered the biscuits and gravy, a cinnamon roll and coffee. All three were great. Will be back soon to work my way down the rest of the menu.

we stopped in here for the first time today and the donuts were great. i will say, they were expensive, but i understand local businesses have to make money. we’ll definitely be going back now and then.

I have had this on my list to check out when in Church Hill. I was not disappointed. I ordered fresh baked eclair's , coconut macaroons, and apple spice muffins and garlic and cheddar biscuits to take to friends. Everything was lovely, fresh and delicious!! Highly recommend stopping by.

The service is great. The biscuits, brownies, cookies and cakes are just fantastic. The prices are reasonable.
