FABULOUS BREADS available for sale!! I bought a sandwich for lunch and it was SUPERB!! Next time I may try the soup; (but I'm not sure because the SANDWICH WAS QUITE FILLING!!) I also purchased a loaf of 9-grain bread to take home. SOOO GOOD!!!❤
This is a nice, clean place. A simple, quiet location to have a bite to eat.

Spelt bread is just perfect! So soft and fresh (freezes great too, to keep it tasting fresh as day 1 when you toast a slice).
Enjoy something in-house to experience the heavenly scent for as long as possible when you stop in.

This sandwich was incredible. I only bought a half of one but I'm considering ordering another half...or maybe a full one. I ate it so fast I didn't have time to get a picture but if you're looking for a great sandwich shop in Midlothian, Prairie Grain DOES NOT disappoint. 🤤🤤 I want more.

Everyone who works here is very nice and friendly. The place is clean and smells delicious.
Food sounds simple, but is very fresh and satisfying.

Update 2023: we've been coming here nearly every Saturday for years, before and after the pandemic, and it continues to have the most satisfying sandwich we've had. 5 stars!

I love this pale so much!!! The sandwiches were so good. And don't even get me started on the bread. I love everything about this little bakery!

Prairie Grain Bread is wonderful. You can get 1/2 of a sandwich or a hole one. They also have a combo with your drink and a side. Fresh baked bread is so fresh. I love this place!!

Would love some selections that are seasonal as well

I like their bread I buy it in the local grocery stores. The actual local is even nicer.

I absolutely love this establishment and their bread! I get bread spelt from here weekly and you can even special order buns and things if you need to. The staff is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful! Their cookies are soooooo delicious as well! I wish this were a chain so that I could enjoy their bread no matter where I am!

This place makes serious bread. A loaf weighs a full 2 pounds, 32 ounces! Nobody else equals that. We like 9-Grain and their Pumpkin Raisin bread.

I absolutely love this place! They have the best of bread, and Old Buckingham has been popular here. I usually come here simply because it’s great!

I only had a ham and cheese sandwich with their 9-grain bread but it was delicious and you can’t beat the price. Eat here.
