Best of British

This is the best place for British grocery foods that I have found since leaving England, the selection and prices are outstanding. I will return to it every time I come back to Virginia. Also, the sales lady was real nice and helpful.

I see bad reviews for the price, but I think they forgot what imported means lol. The staff is very friendly and they have a great selection of different things. The sausage goes fast tho. It’s not an everyday shopping store as like I said, it’s imported so it’s pricey. I usually go there when I’m craving a nice British breakfast.

So great to see all the foods and snacks from home. Will definitely be back especially at easter to buy some easter eggs

While not from the UK, we are from Canada so it was nice to find chocolates and candy we are familiar with. Staff was very friendly. We were delighted to find and purchase some Turkish Delight.

Great little store, I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and friendliness. Will be back soon.

I absolutely love Best of British store. The best candy selection, frozen Banger Rolls and other yummy frozen food. Nice gifts too.

Being from. England, This is a little slice of home, loved the store, even if it us a little pricey, I'll still be shopping there!!

Not the cheapest place around, but if you want a selection of British products this is the place for the area to go!
The owners are personable and always kind! They do the best they can to get seasonable items in at a timely manner!
Be sure to check the freezer for sausages and pastries!!!

A little taste of home :)

Fun little shop in the heart of downtown Hampton. It was my first time in today, went looking for a few things recommended by a friend in Britain. They had quite a few things you won't find in typical American grocery stores. The owner was kind and helpful, and the prices, even though marked up due to shipping from overseas, were reasonable. I'll be returning.

Very cute shop, friendly man waited on us. We bought some unique foods and other items and can't wait to try them. Turkish Delight, Irish mustard, Linda McCartney sausages & a cute bobble head English guard! Worth a stop.

I'm so glad we found this place - an adorable shop with a great selection of snacks, beverages, candy, and condiments, including frozen sweet and savory foods, and neat gift items. Pricey because of the imports, but not exorbitant for most products, and DEFINITELY worth it for the real stuff! The owner was away, but the woman that helped us was very sweet. I'm sure we'll be regular customers from here on out!

Been going here for years just to try different candies on occasion when I'm in the area. It's a nifty little shop and a welcome splash of culture.

A little bit of British in Hamton Roads. This little store is a regular visit for me. They carry just a little bit of everything that you might be missing if you've found yourself in the US and miss your British staple foods. Definitely worth checking out!

There aren't many places in Hampton Roads that you can get the unique food and snacks from Britain, but Best of British had them all. If you are from the UK and want a taste of home, this is where you need to go. All the staples are there from meat pies, bangers, bacon to hula hoops, walkers, buttons, and more. Its expensive, but its unique and imported so it really has to be.

This is a cute shop with so many awesome items from Britain. I stopped in quite a bit to get some old favorites, try something new, and chat with the employees. Very friendly.

Charming little shop! Love the selection of foods from england,ireland and scotland. The owner was very welcoming and even helped us with finding a rare brand of bangers! We will definitely return!
