Perk! Coffee & Lunchbox

Ordered a bagel lox and hot americano to go! Overall the food and coffee were delicious, I really want to try their other menu items!

Bagel was a good ratio of cream cheese and lox. The tomato was surprisingly thick but I liked it! The cream cheese had good flavor with the capers and onions. I wish the bagel wasn’t super toasted but you can request on the instructions :)

I came early and they accommodated my request to change from iced to hot americano. The people were a vibe and super friendly, would def recommend and come back again!

This small, but vibrant coffee shop is amazing! They have a wide array of beverages and food items, as well as a variety of local products and souvenirs. My favorite meal is their breakfast sandwich - bacon, egg, and cheese on a whole wheat bagel and toasted to perfection with a steaming hot cup of tea. Plus, they're located in a shopping center of other cute shops and eateries, so there's parking for days. Edited to add that they sell Nightingale ice cream sandwiches.

What a fun and fabulous spot to grab something to go or sit a spell. There is some seating outdoors (good for four legged friends). I really enjoyed my Wafflelatte (made with oatmilk). It was the perfect amount of sweet. The breakfast pastries were all tasty. Lots of delicious vegan options and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Perk! is such a cute coffeeshop! I got the Virginia Fog and an ube white chocolate latte. They are reasonably priced and the staff was quick to recommend flavor combinations. They sell what looks like local goods and the vibes are fun and warm. I definitely recommend a visit to try their house made syrups!

What a fantastic local coffee shop! There are a lot of things that I like about Perk, but I think one of my favorite things is the incredibly friendly staff. It is clear from the general ambiance that this is a friendly and kind environment. I have now tried some of their vegan sandwiches and also their tuna salad sandwich and everything I've gotten to try so far has been delicious. The coffee is great, and it's fun to shop around the store while you wait for your order! I got a punch card the first day I tried perk and I can't wait to come back to start filling it up!

Stopped by while visiting a friend in Richmond, solely based on Google and yelp reviews. Adding my own to affirm - breakfast bagel was delicious, the bagel itself was super yum and the egg, cheese, and bacon were all great. Made a very satisfying sandwich. Got a vanilla latte and it was also delish. Love a local place, and this delivered.

Sometimes I forget to take pictures of the places I've eaten at, and once again - the food and service was so perfect, I forgot! My apologies. Perk! is a great place to catch up with friends over coffee, it's great if you just want to grab a breakfast sandwich en route to the office, or if you need a change in scenery from your everyday work-from-home setting....this place is amazing, the food & coffee options are plentiful and delicious...but the service...THE CUSTOMER SERVICE...second to none. We will be back! Love supporting local businesses. Even better when the new coffee spot checks all of the boxes. We'll be back! Really cool aesthetic, too. Feels like home; warm & cozy. Friendly vibes.

My wife & I wanted to try a new coffee shop while we worked today. I ordered a CinnaLOAtte w/honey lavender syrup and a BLT on white bread. Awesome, just awesome.

Nice local coffee shop filling the niche that Bon Air has always lacked. The coffee is excellent. Very good homemade pastries (yes to the orange scones), light fare, and free wi-fi. With a single espresso machine, wait times can be long. The children's play area was converted to seating during the pandemic; many parents will miss it, but the additional seating is welcome. The tables and chairs could stand an upgrade. Perk achieves a nice balance between family-friendly and business-friendly. There is a pop-up marketplace on Thursday evenings, including wine tasting. A good, friendly vibe all around.

What is love?

Is it a loved one caring for us as we give our last dying breath? The eternal wagging of a neutered dog's tail as it dotes on it's master? To that I give a resounding

NO!

Super friendly staff, hip crowd and great vibes. The service is wonderful and the drinks are delicious and creative. The Peppermint Mocha warmed me up on a cold day, bringing me back to my time on the islands. Magnum Approved.

This is our go to coffee shop! The vibe is chill and the coffee is delicious! They often have different fun seasonal drinks. Great little gem in Bon Air.

Went here on a Sunday since Cafespresso is closed on that day. The light roast coffee here is very high quality and well brewed. The bagel breakfast sandwich is delicious as well. Great price at just under $8 for the coffee and sandwich. Wi-Fi speeds are fast around 60-70 Mbps download/upload. This is one of the best cafes in Richmond and certainly appreciated on the west side of the city where parking is easy.

Edit: Updating my review to say two more things: 1. I buy my beans from here ever 1-2 weeks. Always the best quality beans/roasters. 2. The espresso is incredible here as well.

I love perk!!!! The coffee is great, the atmosphere is perfect for meeting friends. The orange scone, divine!

Nice ambience. Great cafe au lait coffee ($3.10) with grilled and sliced warm soft bagel sandwich with your choice of fresh ingredients( bagel - 2.25 $ and each ingredient costs 0.50 cents)

Had a great lunch sandwich and delicious iced latte here today. The interior is so cute and I love how they support other local businesses. Big thanks to Sarah and the other baristas for their service! I will definitely be stopping by here again.

Cozy little spot in the heart of Bon Air. Coffee is always good and the bakery case has a wide range of offerings, as well as sandwiches and wraps.

The perfect neighborhood coffee shop. The staff are so incredibly friendly, the grocery is full of interesting little tidbits, the food is delectable, and most importantly, the coffee is terrific.

Great coffee. Great teas. Great food and bakery items. Great staff. You get the picture. I get The Lillian on a toasted whole wheat bagel. I also ask them to warm the tofu (trust me).
They have Oatly milk which if you haven’t tried it is very delicious. I love getting their oat-chata with regular honey instead of spicy. Usually pretty busy in the mornings but such a great spot. Come here all the time.

First time here, ordered their brown sugar shaken espresso and oh my goodness - literally one of the best I've ever had! Quick, friendly service & amazing coffee. I'll be back again to try their food next!

Always a pleasant, uplifting experience. I'm not vegan but the vegan treats are some of our favorites! And of course the bacon cheddar biscuits are divine.
