Great store with everything you need for your home, a picnic or lunch to go.

They have food to order, a salad bar, grab and go items. Anything you need for the pantry.

Beer & wine bulk food items plenty of fresh vegetables. Locally produced produce and meat.

They also have a new mission to train autistic adults to work in the community.

Good Foods offers customer service like no other grocery I've seen. This afternoon I ordered lunch, and the chef's assistant called out my name when it was ready. This food was made to order, and I found it very delicious. Thankfully, safety protocols for the pandemic are being followed there, and cleanliness appears to be a top priority. Also, I found a lot of the Keto friendly and other healthy items that I like at this store. I've been going here for years and highly recommend this health food store!

Excellent bulk refill store. Lots of local/organic options.
Good variety.
Bring your own bags and containers to weigh and refill.

This is the best bulk food section I've seen - maybe ever. They even had golden seal which has been hard to find. All kinds of salts, various teas. In general they seem to have quality products. I highly recommend this store if you are looking to step away from the standard grocery store.

What a gem! This store is such a great spot. They have tons of groceries, local treats, a hot bar, salad bar, and very kind folks who work there. Definitely recommend checking this place out, I’m looking forward to my next visit.

We came to check out their bulk selection and prices and were impressed by both. Staff was friendly and helpful and the store had a nice low key vibe. They also had a prepared food section that deserves another visit. Great place to shop if you are vegan. We will be regulars here.

Good Foods Grocery is paradise for those who love natural, organic, delicious and nutritious food. GFG offers a plethora of raw, local, and exotic ingredients/products that compliment and support a healthy lifestyle. A nice bonus is that the Good Foods Grocery staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Keep up the good work!

This store has by far the largest selection of gluten free products I believe in the entire Richmond and surrounding areas. I have scoured numerous grocery stores, all the major and minor brick and mortar stores and none compare to what this store offers in my opinion. Yes, you are going to pay more for gluten free products, but I don't know any store that would have better or lower prices. What clinched it for me...gluten free donuts in the freezer aisle. They were amazing!!! Just pop one in the microwave for 20-25 seconds and get ready for something spectacular!!!

I love Good Foods Grocery. The staff are always pleasant, cheerful, and helpful when needed. Register efficiency, however, is not really their thing. Do not EVER shop here if you are in a rush and tight on time.

It can get a little pricey here but they have some items that can't be found at other places. They have a hot bar in the back where you can get fresh and healthy foods as well as fresh made smoothies. Highly recommend

Lisa Adams contributing today 2/7/19. I go to Good Foods often. The associates are super helpful when it comes to supplements and the other items they carry. If I am looking for something in particular, I just call ahead (they actually answer the phone themselves here unlike most stores where you get a recording) and they can tell me what brands they carry and the price. They stock Montana Gold Bread, which I love because the varieties I like do not contain dairy, which is important to me. Also, they offer a lot of the same vegetarian/vegan items as Whole Foods and Ellwood Thompson's but many (not all) are at a lower price. In the spring and summer, they offer a great variety of good quality fresh herbs in pots. The best thing about Good Foods is their bulk bins. They have grains, legumes, trail mix, spices, you name it. I can always find what I need here. Plenty of parking is a big plus!

This is an awesome health food store! My aunt who has severe allergies has been coming here for years to find food, supplements, and pantry staples that are safe for her. Now that I have allergies I have been doing to same. For a small store they have quite a variety! We have also enjoyed their dishes they make in house as well as their delicious pressed juices. This place is a great, small scale alternative to Whole Foods!

The staff is always pleasant. The cafe food has been great. The herbs are slightly less expensive than other places. The owner is nice although he never remembers me😁. It's all good. I like their Frozen selection. The produce during the summer was lacking.

So thankful I found this store! They sell a lot of things that are only found online that cost more, especially with shipping! They should however consider a website allowing people to browse their current stock of items.

I started taking my son here when he was a year old...that was two and a half decades ago, and I still love this store. He used to sit in the cart eating a pb and J on that delicious homemade bread. One of my favorite places in Richmond. I find it easy to locate wonderful organic produce, as well as a large variety of vegan foods. It also carries organic meats, but I haven't eaten meat for over 45 years ;) Happy with the health and whole foods focus!

So sad this store is gone from the north side of town, but happy to see it in action south of the James. Amazing store. Huge selection of bulk beans, nuts, dried fruits, dehydrated items, teas, spices, flours, meals, and more. Also great deli area for fresh meal to sit and enjoy or to go. Great prices on so many items! Staff is very kind and helpful. I'll be making a trip back to the south side just for Good Foods! Gotta support the locals!!

A great little organic and local market. Their dry goods (rice, beans, dried fruit, etc.) bins are the best, which I commonly frequent for chocolate covered banana chips and dark chocolate covered raisins.
I have been there for lunch, which was good. They have pre-made sandwiches and sides if you're in a pinch for time. I know they are open for breakfast now, as well.
Staff is always friendly and helpful!

Highest quality of healthful and ethical foods. Prices are reasonable especially for the quality and much of the selection is local. Staff is friendly as one would expect from what is essentially a neighborhood grocery.
