Food Lion

This Food Lion store is one of the better stores belonging to Food Lion I've shopped. Upon entering the first thing I noticed is the store is clean, even on a busy Saturday afternoon.
Walking thru the store it is well-stocked. The produce and meats look fresh and seemed competitively priced. One thing lacking is an assortment of antacid tablets except for Tums. I much prefer Rolaids feeling they work better for me.
There seemed to be adequate cashiers to keep customers flowing. I used self-checkout which is my preference.

Just want to say the deli gets five stars from me! I had my baby shower and food lion came through and cooked our chicken that day. There was a store transfer and Burg I think her name was happy to help! She's great she has great customer service! The chicken was a hit! Thank you foodlion! Blessings!

It was clean, in order as usual, and fast

The cashiers are so surprised when you are friendly. It is usually a pretty good experience there, just don't go at night unless you want like 9 people running up on you at your car asking for money, if you want to buy a t-shirt, if you want to buy a pirated cd/DVD, or if they can get a ride somewhere. The store itself is great though. Fantastic prices, great selection, and friendly staff.

Food Lion looks really nice since they made renovations. The aisles look wider and the lighting is just the right brightness. They offer a large variety of products and I have always loved their prices so i recommend Food Lion for all your grocery needs.

The upgrades and renovations has really brought this grocery store up to par. I have been going here awhile and now will go more often. More self checkout lanes are very helpful, as well as the staff seem much more attentive to the customers as well as the organization of the store. If you haven't checked this store out, its a must to see a Food Lion making an effort to be competitive with the other grocery chains. Good Job Food Lion!

Jennifer was awesome & so kind & I told you I would write a review & call your corporate bc it's people like you that make people want to go back to that same store & be loyal customers to Food Lion. Keep up the good work Jennifer & I hope they give you a promotion or a raise because you definitely deserve it! I was so impressed by your kindness & will to help me bc I was in a hurry! They're always very courteous and helpful. I'm in a wheelchair and they always bring my groceries out for me and help me with stuff in the store God bless them

Good customer service

I love when I can go in right after work and the store is clean, well-stocked and I can be out in 10 minutes or less. I even had a pleasant chat with my cashier she was a very nice

Clean, items displayed nicely, aisles label clearly, prices reasonable. Was there @11:30am no crowds no fuss. Pleasant quiet shopping experience.

I love thus food lion, its always clean, easy to find items, and most of the time they have more things in stick than the other two in my area. Very friendly and helpful employees.

Clean, neat, variety, fresh vegetables, didn't have to wait, to be checked out, had enough cashiers and open lanes, Thank You, didn't have plastic bags, paper was fine with me.

It was super...helpful folk in there even though the self checkout machine I was on super slow (and it won't because of me) it was decent and the only store in Hampton that sells my family's favorite top secret treat

My favorite place to food shop. Love the staff there because they are so helpful. They are friendly and always have what I need 🙂.

FOOD LION WERE GOOD BUT LITTER SLOW TO NIGHT MIGHT BE BECAUSE OF WE ARE GOING TO GET SOME RAIN LATER TO NIGHT BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS OKAY

The manger there is very friendly.she ALWAYLS greet me at the door.with a smile. They treat you rite there very good service.i have no complaints.everybody there very friendly .helpful very proffessional

Associates are always so helpful if you need to find anything or need help and patient with customers

The meat department was exceptional the meat was fresh the bins were full they were placed neatly.

Nearby grocery store. I love the wing bar. Best price in town.
