Seaplane Kitchen & Bar

Went on opening night and it was awesome. Surpassed expectations by far. We had large plates, the meatballs and short rib, and a vegetable, the blistered carrots. The short rib was the standout. Don't skip dessert either, the ice cream is excellent.

Delicious food and drink. Great ambiance. Recommended by a friend who frequents with her husband. Starter veggies are fantastic! I had the King Salmon for my entree and it melted in my mouth. Make sure to svae room for dessert though and get the brownie sundae!!! You will be glad you did!

Next time we'll make reservations. We had about a 35 minute wait for a seat at 6:30 p.m. Luckily, the food and beverages were worth the wait. Our group ordered and shared a few things. We started with the garlic knots and crispy olives which were both superb. We got the Flying Wires pizza, which had two perfectly over easy eggs and loads of tasty parm and bacon. We also tried the crispy cauliflower which had a delicious harissa yogurt sauce. My boyfriend got the burger I stole a small bite from and the meat was superb. Not sure about those sweet pickles though. #dillpicklesforlife. We also got a kid's pepperoni pizza for the wee lad. I didn't try it but it looked yummy. It wasn't much smaller than the standard pizzas. The Dakota Sour, and sour beer were both good beverages. It seems a little pricey for Kenmore, but all in all, a good experience.

Amazing food. The service was quick and their cocktails are phenomenal. The restaurant a great, warm atmosphere and the staff are great. Definitely recommend!

Seaplane is an awesome addition to Kenmore! We felt very welcomed by the friendly hostess and delightfully surprised by the beautiful space. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and care was put into creating the perfect ambiance. The bar is gorgeous! We just had to try a few cocktails and can attest that these bartenders are super legit! Each drink was delicious, unique and very well balanced. No one could decide on just one dish so we went with family style, which was a great choice. Garlic knots with whipped feta?! Melt in your mouth amazing! The tuna dip is another MUST for a starter. We were all impressed with the vegetable selections and each one was like a meal in itself. So fresh and clean! We almost fought over the last bites of perfectly roasted coho, the mouthwatering short rib, and the MEATBALLS - but I’m glad I saved just enough room for the mushroom and fontina pizza because it was the best pizza I’ve had, maybe EVER! I almost passed on dessert, but thank goodness I didn’t because I didn’t know fresh cookies w/ ice cream could be so darn good?! Throughly impressed by the staff, the food and the beauty of the space. Romantic yet very comfy, classy with a casual friendliness. Family friendly with plenty of different sections for all types of occasions. Will be back very soon!

This restaurant and bar is truly love letter to the local area. Many of the materials and all of the knickknacks are reclaimed and collected from the local community which makes for a very comfortable homey vibe. The restaurant is slightly upscale. Food is made with unique flavor combinations and quality ingredients. Both waitstaff and bartenders are pleasant and knowledgeable about what they serve, the restaurant, and the local area.

We came here the first time pre-shutdown, and were worried we wouldn’t get to come again. This was a great treat to be able to come back and sit down to eat. Very efficient with all the changes, we were grateful for the new way they are doing things and the service still provided. Having a QR menu was nice, and allowed a good experience. It’s obvious they are doing everything right and have taken all the necessary precautions.

Delighted to discover that the Seaplane is open for brunch on weekends. Go here to get great food made with care! You can tell there are modern, trained chefs behind every dish.

Great place for family dining. There's a splash pad within viewing distance of the outdoor seating for the kids!

Excellent food, relaxed modern atmosphere, superb service. So fun sitting outside watching the kids play in the splash park!

The food was so good and the service exceptional. I love the concept of ordering different items off the menu and then sharing. We picked 7 items including pizzas, several vege dishes and meatballs and our group of 9 was very satisfied. Don't miss getting the crispy olives when you first arrive. Yummy!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Make sure to make reservations as there was an hour wait for a table on a Tuesday night. They do have a bar and I was able to sit there. All of the staff were great and provided suggestions. I had the crispy olives, a pizza and brussel sprouts. I was amazed at how quickly they came out from the kitchen. Food was excellent. I will definitely be back!

We have really enjoyed eating at Seaplane Kitchen & Bar. With the current "social distancing" being required, we placed an online order for takeout. Ordering was easy and straightforward. The order was ready even though we arrived a few minutes early. We were in the restaurant for just a short period of time and, even with a 20 minute drive home, the food was still warm and delicious. In fact, the food tasted just as good as eating in the restaurant. I would highly recommend Seaplane Kitchen and Bar for high quality food.

We went and sat at the bar and shared brunch on a Saturday. Omg everything was so good! Fried chicken on French toast would not usually be my jam but they had the flavors and salty-sweetness down! Dutch baby with seasonal cherries so good, as was the gem lettuce salad. Brownie dessert just OK. Service very nice and friendly. Ambience is easygoing but nicely decorated. Kids play area too! Parking lot right next to the restaurant. We'll be back!

Terrific Messy Fries! Very unique patio setting next to a water feature. The tables were made out of old bowling lanes, how cool! The wait staff was very accommodating for my party and setup a table for us on the patio when it was originally closed. Thank you for going above and beyond for my group.

Yum! This pizza here is *delicious*, as are the vegetable dishes I've had. Happy hour is a nice deal, the bar staff is lovely and the space is gorgeous. My only complaint is that it's a bit too loud as the evening rush begins, but it's kind of fun listening to the hubbub and everyone enjoying their dinner/company.

I really enjoyed my time at Seaplane! The food was very good and great quality for a decent price. We ordered several different pizzas as well as a charcuterie board, and they were phenomenal. The waitstaff were very professional and helpful, and handled a large group of people well. My only complaint is that there was some sort of fundraiser going on in the downstairs area, and it was sometimes difficult to hear each other over the noise. However, I’m sure this isn’t a common occurrence. I would definitely return to Seaplane, and hands down recommend it to anyone.

First time at the seaplane today 12/26/2018 WOW! What an amazingly cool experience. The food was incredible! The service was on point. The decore of the bar and lighting is perfect. Very relaxing setting. Donny the bar manager was so awesome. Took care of us so well. We will be customers for a long time. Order The oyster they are incredible. It doesn’t matter what you order I’m sure it’s all amazing. Everything had so much flavor and everything was so fresh. Seaplane is a 10 in my book! Thanks guys for the experience.

I’m already a fan of this restaurant group and I’m excited to have an addition to the family up north. Ambiance and vibe is great. Food was prompt and well prepared, although we didn’t love our choices. Next time we’ll try something different. But please if you go, get their fresh sliced prosciutto! It’s ALWAYS WORTH IT.

A new favorite destination with pizza, entrees and the highlight for me, lots of veggies. Love the relaxed but hip setting with indoor and outdoor seating near a large courtyard where the little ones can run around. Desserts include delicious giant cookies and rotating soft serve. The pizza is thin crust and flavorful. There are TVs to catch the game and a fun Seaplane decor theme. Reservations are accepted. Located just across from a very nice community work space with a coffee shop.
